The location is great. Very close to shinjuku station (hence easy to commute to everywhere else since its one of the few major stations in Tokyo). Rooms are OK. Clean and tidy with all necessary amenities. The room size is rather small by western standard but quite big if you think you're in the heart of Tokyo (and you get a regular size bath tub, not those you can only sit in in it). Staff speak English quite well but they always look grumpy.
There are many nice shops and restaurants near by but, like most good restaurants in Tokyo, you'll have to book in advance especially for dinner. And staff more than often do not speak English.response / report this review -

Good hotel in a nice area of Shinjuku. Staff are good and free coffee in reception. A good alternative to hotel district. Some good cafes nearby, and a few record shops too!

My family checked into this hotel on 15 Oct and stayed till 18 Oct.
Firstly, the room is small. Very very very small. However, the toilet is very big(which I don’t understand the purpose).
Secondly, the room 803 look down directly to a cemetery which is quite eerie. Even my 6 year old Girl also don’t dare to go toilet herself. Not being superstitious but that’s the fact.
Thirdly, my girl got bed bug bites on half her face and hands. She like to sleep on her side and we concluded that the bites start from the pillow. For me and my Husband, because it’s so cramp, we are actually sleeping facing up. Therefore not affected.

Great location for the price. Rooms are typically Japanese small size but comfortable and clean. Very quiet area, having a cemetery next door helps with no noise.

This was a very nice hotel to call home during the first few days of our Japan trip. There is a wonderful little park right outside the hotel where we had our breakfast every morning with the salary men. It was so enjoyable. The hotel is only a few blocks from Shinjuku station and very close to all of the other attractions in the area. There are also endless places to eat right around the hotel. We will stay here again next time we are in Tokyo.

This place is comfortable. Really good choice for stayed. We stay here for 5 days. 12-17 march 2017. Everyday my room is always cleaned. Location is really strategic. near to shinjuku station. Breakfast set are so delicious. Amenities are complete. Thank you for all staffs.. Loveee this hotel and will be back when we visiting japan again. 😉

Stayed there only one night after a 2-week roadtrip around Japan and that mattress felt GOOD. The bathroom was really nice, the sheets too, and the breakfast was perfect and not so expensive at all. In the centre of Tokyo, I really don't regret spending the few savings I had left in that hotel room !

Perfect base for exploring Tokyo. The area around the hotel is lively, with several bars, many excellent restaurants, and ramen joints within a couple of blocks. And it's a just short walk to the busy bit of Shinjuku and the station. Service was efficient and friendly, the room (a twin) was big enough (for Japan!) with a large bathroom. Got a good deal online, so was really good value to boot. No complaints.
