One of the best hotels I've stayed in. The buffet breakfast spread was great.

Rooms are great. Functional and clean. Staff at the desk are not so great. The prison lock down of requiring a key to access floors provides a level of security in one of the safest cities in the world.
If you want breakfast get there super early or you will have to sit on one of the sad little chairs in front of the closed bar "ale house".
Elevators will add another 5 mins to whatever it is you want to do. Checking out is insane. Add the elevator wait time, the huge backlog waiting for one and you could end up late.
In summary, great place to just drop dead and sleep. Bring food and always put an extra 10 mins on top of thinks as a buffer to suffer through the bad service and elevator experience. Bring your own food too. I saw people slurping down spaghetti at breakfast.
If you speak Japanese, then do it. The staff won't respond with a level of service until you point out their failings in Japanese. Usually you just get that polite smile that tells you they really don't care.response / report this review -

Good location, malls and metro, city views. Eastern edge of the center. The standard room is way too small for this category and does not compare with the usual rooms of the chain. No gym, which is surprising for the hotel group. Breakfast package available. Interesting breakfast mix that in part addresses kids, as does the koala theme. For the price it's good. Max 2 nights advisable, or get a bigger room. Front desk and cleaning staff very good. Free water and coffee in guest lounge.

I went to a bar at the 4th floor. It was very nice; good atmosphere, people are nice, drinks are good, and great view. It's sightly expensive but it's definitely worth it.

Good location, The hotel has been built on the subway station and it is just 3 min. from JR STATION. Room not much spacious but comfortable with all good qualities amenities. Staff very kind, mainly korean origin as the hotel belongs to a famous Korean group.

Clean, cheap, close to jr and metro, have bookoff in the same building, have 24 hours supermarket and 24 hours restaurant nearby.
