  「銀座のスタアバーとは別の良さがある」
  両方を知る黒帯の酔客がそう言っていた。
  オーソドックスなカクテルにも工夫や捻りをくわえて進化した一杯に仕上げる技量が素晴らしい。
  先斗町という難しい街にも馴染んだ、京都の大切なバーになりつつある一軒。

  Dark. Classy. If you want a quiet but very well made drink which isn’t too touristy, come here - was actually recommended to me by a prominent bartender in Singapore. Tasty bar snacks and good service.

  Not to be mistaken with Star Bar 363 (like night and day). Kyoto Star Bar is an elegant classy joint straight out of Mad Men era. Watching Kouji Kido make a martini was an art form. He first steeped the olive in gin then proceeded to make my martini. So delicious. I had to have another one.
