a meat restaurant that serves different delicious food, ive been there and tasted their foods. i love the foods there that makes me wanted to come back Niku Bardakara Matsuya.
My boyfriend and I travelled to Tokyo for 6days and we arrived in Kyoto this afternoon. We went for a late dinner which was a disaster choice to went down to your restaurant. First the staff was nice to offer us English menu but it stop there. Within limited explanation on menu we couldn’t have enough information. Kimchi was 490 yen and as that is your restaurant you should know how much you provide to guest. When the staff sent the kimchi I was almost laughed, not just because we are tourist and foreigners that’s how you treat us. Was 5 staffs standing there doing nothing. The meat quality was awesome but you charged 1190 yen and 990 yen for not even 10 small bites of them. Really?! We came from Melbourne and this is not my first time travelling to Japan. After dinner I have to buy instant noodle back to hotel. Because I just got ripped off from this disgraceful place. And I hope you start to changing. I still can’t believed in Kyoto’s restaurant is probably expensive but only want to ripped off tourist. And just so you know we are not idiot or dumb. Because one day you will know how it feels when you paid an expensive dinner but not feels eating anything.
The food was delicious, meat is definitely good quality however the amount was really small and in this case is really overpriced. We ordered also a jug of sangria which is meant to be 500ml but it came out in a 300ml jug so my overall experience is this place is a massive rip off.
My friends were there last march and I must say their Japanese Black Cattle Steak was epic! and don't forget to try their red marbled course, it's very suitable for you and your friends. I will definitely go back their!
Was looking for some melt in your mouth tasty steak, and I found it. Unfortunately, it came at the cost of about $17 per 4oz., that's just meat, no side save a leaf of cabbage the meat sits on and a single cherry tomato. For the most part the food here was good and I would bathe myself in the anchovy butter they cooked the cabbage in,(separate side dish, ~$4) but the price was crazy. Especially when there are great food places just a few streets over that are fractions of the price. They also happen to be one of a few places that are not closed/packed out the door on Sundays, which is what brought me in. Also, bread is not free!!! Found that out on the bill. Everyone around me was getting bread, which I didn't see on the menu, so I asked about it and the waiter brought me 2 slices of toasted French bread, no butter, nothing to dip it in, just plain ole bread, 6$. Which I lamented heavily, because not only could I have found a French tourist to bake me a loaf for cheaper, but I also greedily ate it like the glutton I am and completely missed out on the opportunity to soak up that delicious cabbage sauce with it. If you aren't on a budget and want some good beef then this isn't a bad place. If you are like me and would like to have some change in the bank when you get back home then stay clear.

Nothing special. Easy to order and convenient, but I've paid less for more and better wagyu in Japan. French Fries with anchovy oil was nice, veges were nice but very overpriced. Beef was very overpriced and not tender at all. Mojitos were poorly made. Overall I regret going here, just happy that we only ordered a few dishes.
