Juyoh Hotel is great for a place to stay if you just need somewhere to crash. It's good for what you pay for, unfortunately the a/c in my room has aggravated my hayfever and I think I may have caught a cold because of it as well. Otherwise the place is great.

This is a really decent and clean hotel especially for the price. The first room we started in was great and the showers and bathroom were clean everyday we stayed there. The staff has English speakers and they were very kind with helping my friend and me. They have a kitchen for breakfast and computers that are free to use.

It’s a decent walk away from the minami senjuu metro station, but not unbearable. The neighborhood was safe from our experience. We didn’t have to call a taxi or anything. So if you want to take the metro from the Haneda airport to this hotel, it’s doable. But don’t pack too much because you do have to walk a couple of blocks. I was able to make it alone from the hotel to my airport pretty fine with one rolling suitcase, and one duffel.

I knocked a star off because while the first room we stayed in was good, I had to come back here for the end of my trip and stay one more night and when I got to my room, the window was open and it really smelled bad in the room I guess they were still in the middle of cleaning it. After turning the ac on it was ok though.

I would still recommend staying here

Cheap and easy going hotel. Clean rooms, awesome Japanese bath and good connection to subway, trains and bus.
Peaceful surrounding despite being the biggest slum in Tokyo.
Near by stores and bars & restaurants.

    Friendly staff, speaking good English.
Play/Common Room with Console gaming, TV, Manga and more.
Open for use kitchen and Computers.

The rooms in the hostel are small, but for visiting the city you'll be spending most of your time outside the hostel and so the size of room doesn't really matter. The hostel has showers on several floors as well as the option to pay ¥300 for an hour in the Japanese style bath. Also, there is coin laundry on the top floor with washing powder available from the front desk. The staff are lovely and friendly and very helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay at Juyoh Hotel. It is located in a quite neighborhood, 10 minutes walking distance of Minami Senju station. There is a 7Eleven in the nearby.

The facilities are good enough for a short stay but the room is very small (Japanese standards) and there is not private bathroom. However, I would repeat again.

Great! Checking in was easy. Everything was clean (including the showers and toilets). Only one toilet and urinal per floor for men (probably one or two for females) but I never had any wait time. The room was a room and the futon comfortable. The hotel is just a few meters from the nearest bus stop and maybe 10-20 meters from the nearest store.
