Beautiful view with fall color. Good service and good size of room. The hotel provides the kinomo for the guests.

Huge resort (but maybe too big?) Hot spring water is good, amenities so-so, cold tea after bath? Not the best I've been to. Dinner is over priced, not worthy. Very close to Gero train station. Room reeks on cigarette smell though, as well as most of the hotel area. Gero is too boring, day trip is sufficient.

A very comfortable and convenient hotel. It has a very soothing onsen and it is very near to the train station.

Place is conveniently located near the station. Nice service and good food. Onsen is clean and has an overlooking view of the scenic mountain. Nice beautiful pocket garden in the lobby and they have a pretty big koi. Old place but the most important is that it is maintained very well. It is just a testament of an establishment that stands through times.

Fantastic Hotspring you can ever dream of!
It's said Gero is one of the top 3 cities you can enjoy the best hotspring, and I believe so after stayed here for one night!

    ***ROOM***
It's spacious and comfortable. All kinds of facilities were well maintained.
    ***HOTSPRING***
The best I ever enjoyed! The have three difference Hotspring houses located in different buildings and level. The largest one is so amazing! The water itself is super moisture and make your skin sleek as silk. There's also an outdoor Hotspring where you can enjoy the soaking under the moon.
    ***FOOD***
It was a fault to untick the dinner set while making reservation- I was thinking it could be a better choice to go to the Hotspring Shopping Street for lots of local food, but it's really not a busy street and most of them closed before dinner timeWHAT??? There should be more fun than this- eating, shopping, wandering but nothing to do then, I guess it the lifestyles the locals preferred or it was not the correct season.
    ***SERVICE***
Very nice! They provide pick-up service even it's only 5-minute walking distance from the JR station! And they can speak your language which was very helpful and homelike.

In overall, this was a great choice although it's a little bit expensive!

The onsen hotel has three complex building. It maybe the largest hotel in gero onsen village. Onsen is great with a little bit disappointed on outdoor onsen that the view is not good.
Food is good with delicous japanese dining. Breakfast is in buffet style.

The hotel is pretty, but I've been to a number of onsens, and this one does not seem real - it looks and feels more like a large hot tub. The worst of it all: the restaurant still serves SHARK FIN soup. I'm disappointed in this place
