i keep hearing complaints from so many friends' families there they are SLOW , they are COLD BLOODED CARELESS JORDANIAN STAFF some mentioned that they even MAKE FUN of their tragedies through their face expressions or voice tone others mentioned a SERIOUS CORRUPTION through asking money ( a Daf"ter means a book ) ( the layman language in Iraq for the 100 piece of the one hundred dollar notes , and that's equal to $ 10,000 ) to make the family's file move to the next step ( Al Taw"teen ) one of the guys even mentioned that they " LOST " HIS FILE after they told him that his family was put on ( Al Taw'teen ) , so he was shocked and wondered " isn't all files on computers " so , after 2 years of waiting and hope he has to start again from ground zero . in this Easter Sunday meeting in the church , he speculated that they " sold " his file to another refugee CONCLUSION , IN GENERAL : MOST refugees say that the first step of refugee application is the most frustrating and they wish if the stuff were NOT JORDANIANS .FACTS : For most refugess, it's a daily suffering living in Jordan it is expensive .. No one allowed to work they are slowly draining their saved money or have one of their family risking his life to keep working in danger to keep money flow or worse and that's begging for help from relatives abroad Waiting for the UNKNOWN mercy of the UN and other countries help SO !!!!!
MY THOUGHT : i am not against hiring JORDANIANS to help in doing things and translation in UN mission , BUT giving them the BIGGEST ROLE specially in the first step of refugee application and LETTING THEM to decide who to accept and who to refuse to the 2nd step " AL Taw'teen " this is COMPLETELY NOT FAIR for refugees , it is an INVITATION for corruption which all refugees now are talking about { and you can VERIFY THAT from refugees themselves } , it is a CAUSE FOR DELAY IN PROCESSING the applications as they do have interest ( that is a way to keep these refugees' relatives sending money and that's a source of income to Jordan )
