The view is great, good option if you visit Petra (with a car, it's a little far from the visitor center by foot)

Basic hotel but the views pay off, oddities of the hotel was that hot water starts from 5pm and the AC's weren't turned on even though it was advertised. Breakfast was basic but good. Location is decent and close enough you can easily walk to restaurants/shops and the service was good.

Mohammed was welcoming and accommodating. good basic room although the toilet was tiny (but that's the old buildings). We also did the evening Little Petra dinner Mohammed suggested which was a lovely camp. Although the hotel isn't the closest to the Petra visitor centre, it's a cheap ride to the entrance.

Accomidations were fine. The manager of this 20 room hotel was very nice in giving us advice ans helpful giving us several rides to and from places
We thought we would be getting a cab often, so it was a welcome surprise that he drove us. Can't imagine he would have this time to give alot of rides in season. (We stayed in Jan 2018) We stayed two nights. Nice breakfast in a locally decorated room with a great view was nice.

Amazing hotel! It is simple but clean, comfortable, and affordable. The owner, Mohammed, provided us with incredible service. He went above and beyond, personally driving us to and from the entrance to Petra and elsewhere. He also custom organizes any tour that you’d like to Wadi Rum and other places of interest. We had a wonderful experience thanks to Mohammed and his contacts. I’d highly recommend Rocky Mountain to anyone!

Best place to stay near Petra for the price. Our room was a single so a bit smaller but clean and comfortable. Breakfast included. Staff very helpful.

On the plus side, this is a small hotel with friendly staff and a great view of Wadi Musa and the rocks of Petra. As for the minuses, the rooms are old and only have one power socket, the sheets in our room were old and worn, and the bathroom was cramped and humid.

Wonderful hotel in Petra village. Has everything you need to have a relaxing stay. The owners are so friendly and warm. The view is breathtaking. The food is delicious. 24hr tea and coffee. Affordable packed lunches for your Treasury day trip. The bed was comfortable and nice and quite at night to sleep. There is even a tv in the room. Shower water was hot. Free Shuttle to Petra and back to hotel. Exquisite hotel, very clean and nice price. Again, the view!! Trust me, it's the best hotel experience in Petra.

Stayed here in 2013: great place to spend our time in Petra, even though it wasn't very close to the gates of the entrance of Petra. The advantage of this was that because we were quite high up a hill, we had a very nice view of Petra and it's village, and could watch a very beautiful sunset every night. The hotel organised free drop offs and pick ups to and from Petra.
It has a very nice dining area upstairs, which is sort of a lounge area as well. You can also sit here on the balcony where you can enjoy the view over Petra. The breakfast was good and the lunch packages that you can buy for 4 JD every day are great.
The owner and her husband were both very friendly and helpful.
