If I could leave no stars I would. The cleanliness of our room was better than expected. They took no responsibility for mistakes that were obviously there fault. Paid no attention to you after check-in. All they want is to sell you a buy in to all the properties.

1. The check in process takes way too long. After traveling for several hours, most people just want to get their key card and get to their room. The process needs to be more efficient.
2. When we booked online, there was not Preferred Club available, so we booked a regular room. Upon entering the room (2433), the first thing you notice is the view, which was beautiful. The second thing we noticed was the huge water stain on the wall from ceiling to floor. I then noticed a horrible repair job on the shower frame which then led to an extremely moldy base around the shower. The bed was uncomfortably hard and the pillows were hard and barely stuffed. I called for the front to bring me a new pillow from storage and no one ever brought it. I called the front desk over 5 times and never received a pillow of any sort. The next day I called and asked for a manager. He came to our room and I explained to him the bed and pillow situation, along with the wall and shower issues. I also explained to him the poor quality of food. He was able to move us to Preferred.
Upon arriving in the Preferred room (1204), I immediately noticed the bed was softer and the pillows were better. I also found the pillow menu on the smart pad tablet, which no one told me there was a pillow menu. I have 3 herniated discs in my lower back, so comfort is my main priority when I am away from my own bed. The Preferred room was no better than the building 1 room. The room was very humid which is a breeding ground for mold and mildew. The curtains were moldy/mildewy, the night lights (bedside lights) were filthy dirty and had mold/mildew on them, along with the wall in the bathroom area which had mold/mildew on it. The scale in the bathroom didn’t work either, which isn’t a big deal, but if it is there, it should work. One of the night lights by the bed had a broken lampshade and was hanging by the wires and the other one had faulty wires and worked half the time if you wiggled the wires.
The noise level outside of the Preferred Club is ridiculous. Whoever designed and engineered the buildings did not think that through. Not every one is a night time, party person. The piano bar and evening entertainment is so loud outside of the Preferred and lasts well until 11:30/12 at night. My husband and I like to be in bed by 10, and we struggled falling asleep.
3. The food is horrible. For being a five star resort, we expected much more. We chose an all-inclusive resort, not for the all-inclusive alcohol (we don’t drink), but for the all-inclusive food and adults only. The food is bland and has no flavor.
4. The beach and pool were the best part of the trip. Everything outside was well kept and maintained. However, the servers at the pool are slow. It took 30 minutes for them to bring back a Coke.
Overall, we were extremely disappointed in the Secrets Wild Orchid. We stayed at the Secrets The Vine in Cancun, Mexico and had the best time there. We were expecting more from Wild Orchid and were let down. Needless to say, we will never be visiting this resort again, nor will be we recommending it to anyone in the future. I am attaching pictures for you to see what we experienced.

Overall a nice place. Staff are extremely friendly. Food however, while tasty is usually never actually hot. Gym is nice but humid inside. Not enough beach towels it seems. Glasses half the time were never actually clean i noticed.

This is such a beautiful Resort we will definitely be coming back here. The staff here was so friendly it was unbelievable. The temperatures were just perfect, the area is so clean, the drinks are perfect I recommend the Bob Marley. The food is good. Just an all out beautiful place!! We didn't go off the resort. Be prepared to spend money for things you may want everything is pricey!!

This place is just the best. My wife and I are in love with this resort. People who work here are awesome. The staff always greet you with a smile. And are willing to help in anyway they can. I just wish I could live here. We will be back someday, I know we will. Thanks for a great time, and of some awesome memory's. Thanks again

Spacious, clean rooms. Plenty of beach chairs at all the pools. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Well brand booze was marginal, but most of the bars had name brands, such as Jack, Beam, Dewars, Tanqueray, Grey Goose and many different liqueurs. The resort loses a star for food quality, though. Of the themed restaurants, the Jamaican was by far the best. The Italian was mediocre and the French downright awful. All in all a great time with a wonderful staff. I'd def go again!

Beautiful resort that goes above and beyond to make your stay as fun and comfortable as possible! We were treated like royalty. Great food options. Beautiful views. Couldn't ask for more from an all inclusive resort. Came home relaxed and refreshed during the long winter months!

I just left this paradise! When I say paradise that's exactly what it was! I am already thinking about my next trip here. The rooms were amazing, the staff were wonderful and very accommodating, the property was very clean, and all inclusive is worth every penny. They even offered a free credit to the spa or beach dinner. I loved this place and their chain of resorts. I plan on trying breathless next to explore that place. If you pick this resort you will not be disappointed.

Service provided by all of the staff was excellent. Some of the staff members, especially at Bord Aux went well above the call of duty to make our final meal truly memorable.
The food in general was high quality with excellent presentation.
The layout of the rooms though is weird.
TV is far too small for the wall. No stereo or music system.
Although the bathroom is nice contemporary sinks and faucets, jetted tub, etc - the partition between the bedroom space and bathroom is a thin transparent curtain. NO PRIVACY.
The toilet stall is separated from the shower by translucent glass that doesn't even go to the ceiling.
None of the toilets flush fully, even when pushed 2 or more times. There is no exhaust fan in the toilet area. Basically, who wants to stink up the joint, have no exhaust and absolutely no privacy?
The light switch locations and functionality are odd. There are far too few outlets 110V or 220V. and/or places to plug in for charging your electronics.

Nice on the surface but poor quality when you look deeper. Beautiful bathroom but the Jacuzzi smelled like sewage when the jets were turned on and the sink sprayed water all over the counter. Nice sliding glass doors that led to the balcony but they didn't seal properly allowing hot humid air to pour into the room. We had to change rooms because the humidity was so bad in our first room. The beach and pools are nice. The drinks and food are average. The workers were either very polite or very rude. The resort did not meet expectations

The location is nice, the resorts preferred club area is nice, the staff and restaurants are also nice. The big issue for me is, this resort has roaches. The rooms look as if they’re “cleaned at”and it disturbs me that they “know” they have a roach problem and clearly don’t manage their preventive measures as if they care. I’ve been at this resort for 4 out of a 7 day trip and I’ve changed rooms 2 timesonce for a roach siting and 2nd because the toilet area smelled like a urinalI’m now waiting to change rooms yet again, due to another roach siting. I called room service at 11:15pm for a cheeseburger and they knocked on my door at 2am with the burger. The rooms also have mosquitoes, i was bitten profusely, they gave “Me” a can of bug spray to fumigate my roomI did not pay to come here and do this! I guess this is why this new roach came out the woodwork, the fumes brought it out. This is not how i planned to spend my birthday tripUNBELIEVABLE!!! Never again Secrets Wild Orchid!😡😤🤬

We had a great vacation over Thanksgiving. Events were awesome, room was amazing, pool and beach were fantastic. The all inclusive food and perks were worth the cost. If you go here, you should know there are free water sports like kayaking and stand up paddle boarding!!!

In February my husband and I visited for our anniversary with our brothers and their wives. We had such a great time. So much so that tomorrow our son Steven Cagle and his new bride will arrive for their honeymoon! I am sure they will be shown the same good time we had! Would not recommend this place. There were some very nice people, good food, and amenities but all these things are not as important to me as customer service. I had an issue with a couple of the bartenders (Leo and Henrick) and the upper management was more supportive to their employees and did not take my offense very seriously. I feel like certain employees there are free to run a muck. These two bartenders were very disrespectful and unprofessional and were not held accountable.

The service was great. They didn't miss a beat. Once on the resort we had lots of entertainment and food options. The staff keep our room clean and they come by twice to see if you need towels. I'd definitely stay here again.

FUN FUN FUNMy family and I had a wonderful time..the service was excellent. The food was good. The place is kept up, very clean. I would recommend this place to all family and friends for a all adult getaway. Oh and can't forget about the drinks hard or soft they where on point

We had a great time, my husband and I. Stayed 4 nights then continued our 5 week honeymoon from there. Enjoyed dancing, eating, relaxing, the gym, drinking of course and the drinks work 😊staff were great. It's not the real Jamaica though a very nice resort. Nice to eat dinner then go dance and have fun and order a cheese sandwich in your room at 2am! We stayed at all sorts of places including hostel following this. Appreciated the all inclusive convenience

The resort is pretty awesome, and it's reflected in the premium for a less than stellar room. Our room had a glass slider to the bathroom suite that was once functional, and now bears a sticker that says it's a non-functional door. We went for our honeymoon, and there really wasn't any stellar treatment in that regard. We saw others checking out with bottles of rum for a birthday celebration, but wasn't treated to any of that. Our refrigerator was later classified as a "chiller" when it wouldn't keep beer cold. I'd love to see how this room stacked up with the others. Seemed the resort was 5-10 years behind clean and modern. For the price, I would have went somewhere else, knowing what I do now. Restaurants and food was awesome. Most of the bar staff carried the sentiment that they under pour everything so you can't get a buzz in under 10 hours of solid drinking. Could have been better, could have been worse.

Really great relaxing break. Lovely surrounds (see pics). Staff on a whole were great. Thanks to Susanne who was very kind and assisted me when I needed some extra help. One slight negative was that a couple of meals were a bit too salty( I have a low salt diet)

Absolutely the best resort I have been to! If you like activities or just relaxing on the beach this is a perfect place to do it.
All of the employees are very respectful, fun an have a sense of humor. Really do a good job at keeping everyone entertained.
If you like to snorkel, this is an excellent place to do it. Free snorkeling, twice daily was one of my highlights.
Take a bicycle tour with the resort a couple miles down some of the streets of Jamaica and maybe you'll get to try some fresh juice out of a local vendors truck!

We went here on our honeymoon and they totally exceeded our expectations. Everyone there was so friendly and full of life! The food was good and so much to choose from. The one thing I can recommend to them is the housekeeping was not good. They made beds and replaced towels however our room was obviously dirty. Aside from that, the place was beautiful! We will definitely go back there!!!

Rooms were great, staff was really friendly and the food was good! Went with my girlfriend and we wished we stayed longer. Get up early and claim your spot on the beach or by the pool. Seats go quickly. We loved Bordeaux for dinner. Great spots to have great views of the ocean. Breakfast buffet was great and the here chicken cart for lunch was great. Our favorite lunch spot was Oceana. There was always entertainment going on too. Themes every night and various activities throughout the day.
