The security of the rooms is not 100%. Our door was not the best. No elevators either. The view is beautiful cause you have the beach right there!

Decor is a little older than the usual, friendly staff. Pool amenities. Continental break fast provided. It's in a central area in case u need to run for food.

The hotel is somewhat in need of an upgrade, but it has a home away from home atmosphere.

The entire staff and JUTA drivers are 10 star in quality. Absolutely amazing group of people.

Location is perfect, right on the beach, excellent view of the cruise ships coming & going. Relaxing, relaxing, relaxing. Highly recommended.

Not all inclusive hotel, but the food is great. The continental breakfast is satisfactory.

Stayed at Rooms Ocho Rios Easter 2018 weekend. On arrival, I was given a room on
the first floor next to an exit door, bar and pool area so I requested a room change, and was given another room a few doors down. First night was uncomfortable due to the room appeared dirty. It was also damp and musky.

I gave the facility 3 Stars because their staff went above and beyond to ensure their guest needs are met. Special thanks to Nicole in housekeeping for always stocking extra wash cloths, pillows and towels, and for giving my room a good clean each day which made the next couple of nights a lot more comfortable.

Complimentary breakfast consists of muffins, fruits, toast, cold cereal and coffee/ tea.
Although the locks are old and some broken, there were security on duty 24 hrs. I felt safe after my first night and my belongings were not stolen. Overall, Rooms is located in a great area but it seriously needs to be updated.

Absolutely horrible experience. I feel bad saying that on the fact that I'm Jamaican and i want good things for my island. The hotel is in need of repair and the staff is need of re-training. Our room was dirty, filled with dirt, mildew, and broken things. They gave us a different room but it was just as bad. We paid for 3 nights but decided we would go to a different hotel altogether. Please stay away from this please. One star simply because a star is the lowest accepted

It was ok when you think about the location near the beach. Breakfast could've been much better. Didn't care for it. No entertainment. Otherwise, it's ok

Four of us stayed two days for rebel salute. We would not return even if they paid us. It is in deplorable conditions. Bathroom falling apart, mold and mildew everywhere, leaking ceiling, forever cold rooms even when ac is off. Staff is nothing to write home about. I was creeped out the entire time. The only saving grace was that I was hardly at the room. No one should go there untill they do a total renovation!! Not recommended!!!

The hotel and location are terrible, staff are not around in he restaurant and everyone makes you feel like a pain for asking for anything. Ocho Rios itself is atrocious. Dirty and people are so harassing it is unbearable. I would not recommend anyone come here.

My wife and I stayed here in December of 2016. We got a bad deal on our room. Coming out of warm sunshine we walked into a cold and damp room in the afternoon and before we could place our bags down we were stepping in puddles of water on the floorthe walls and the entire floor was wet. Although the front desk staff sounded surprised, we later found out from a housekeeper that it happens regularly in several rooms where they simply "sweat" from the walls down resulting in a very wet floor. Don't know the chemistry behind that one and why it happens only in some rooms.

The maintenance staff was less than helpful and the promise of a room change was never kept. The room was prepared for 2 guests but the bathroom towels and wash rags were for 1 guest, it took us several hours to get the additional rags and towels.

Had the customer service been better, our stay would have been so much better as well as this review, despite the challenges.

Stayed at this hotel (motel) for 5 days. It was my son's 11th birthday. The hotel is in a very nice location. Banks, grocery stores shopping centre and restaurants are in walking distance. The hotel itself needs major renovations. It's occupying a prime piece of real estate and is just a waste of space. The room was old and dated with old furniture that needs a proper clean and refinish. The bathroom was a bit musty and old with what looked like hardened calcium deposits on the shower head and faucets. The beach was right outside my door. It was nice and clear for 2 days then came the rain and the cruise ships. The water got murky and my son was stung 3 times by jelly fish very close to shore. Only a continental ( toast, tea, coffee, muffins, cereal and fruits) breakfast was included. I expected at least a Jamaican breakfast, not just that. The kitchen was opened and you could purchase breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had much better food on the street. Saying that, I must admit that even though I probably would not return to the hotel as it is, the staff was absolutely great!!! Not just one or two of them, ALL were some of the best people I have met on a vacation. Two stars at best for the property but 5 stars for the people!!

This hotel is very convenient when it comes to location. The beach is at the forefront, the town is nearby and great to shop and get food additionally. The staff has great customer service and are friendly. And the stay at ROOMS feels welcoming always

My first time staying at this hotel and it was great, place was clean room was ready and waiting for us, the ambiance was wonderful but they could do more with the continental breakfast. Apart from that my overall experience there was wonderful I would definitely go back!! :) :)

When there on a gustazo. The room was dated, it was clean though and I received good Customer service. They could use some thick blankets in those beds. The "free" breakfast was SO bland- the option was juice, pastry, bread, tea and 2 pieces of fruit.

This is a nice Hotel in the middle of Ocho Rios on Jamaica's North Coast. This hotel uses the EP model and a Continental breakfast is included in the price. There are several restaurants and clubs within walking distance from the property. The service provided by the staff is very good and the pool was always clean during my last stay.

I visited here on a gustazo for a 2 night stay. While the reception was pleasant they took an hr to find a room for an extra person, though they kept mentioning that a room was ready for 2 not 3, I was a bit annoyed at this as they do allow for extra persons to register same day. I don't think they were prepared or ready. There was also a bathroom smell that kept seeping into the reception area just awful! We had to also walk through this stench to get to our room. Thankfully the room though near to the reception didn't have any smells. Our room was clean and had a functioning tv, hot water and tea, the hair dryer didn't work and there was no iron in the room though these were items listed as amenities. A downside for having a room on the ground floor near the pool area was that guests were allowed to entertain on the pool deck into wee hours in the morning which meant sound coming through the door waking us up. While we received a continental breakfast of sorts, the kitchen staff wasn't allowed to or refused to warm any other food there. This I found to be absolutely ridiculous since no microwave was provided in room and the kitchen doesn't cook a wide variety of meals. Access to beach provided beach towels and lounge chairs. Overall, this would not be a first option for me to recommend to anyone. It was my first and last stay here.

Good enough if you are looking for a place to sleep, but not much else. Staff could use some training on customer service. Facilities are passable.

A nice place for what it is. A nice little place to crash for the night or for the weekend and enjoy all that Ocho Rios has to offer.

The location of the hotel is convenient to restaurants and mini markets. The hotel staff were somewhat friendly but customer service was poor. The room was outdated and the AC needed to be service, the air was not fresh. The room was not cleaned properly either the bathroom no refrigerator. The beach is very pretty and access is easy because its just few steps of the property, however the locals are also on the beach thus taking up picnic like tables that could be utilize for the guest, they are also a lot of hustlers trying to sell you things 24 -7 making it very difficult to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Jamaica and its' mountains. If you are just looking maybe to spend a day or so then its tolerable. I would not be visiting this hotel again or recommend it for long term vacation stay greater than 2 days its' not worth 189USD.

It is dated but clean and spacious rooms. The place needs refurbishing. This is okay for a place to sleep and shower. It's almost like a guest house rather than a hotel.

Clean, spacious rooms. Great view into the beach, conveniently located in centre of Ocho Rios, within walking distance to local market and restaurants. Pretty basic breakfast but you can order more options.
