ONE LUXE is Jamaica pure and amazing! We recently stayed there for 11 nights to celebrate Christmas and New Years with my extended family. We loved, loved, loved every minute of our time at the house. It was absolutely perfect for spending countless hours lazing by the pool, cooking a gourmet meal, hitting the jacuzzi, or catching up on a good read on one of the numerous decks overlooking the lush mountains or blue ocean. Michael was a truly amazing host and did so many things for us including recommending activities, places to eat, getting groceries so we had food when we arrived, bringing us coffee in the morning, offering rides to the beach club, showing us how to get fresh coconuts from the trees in the garden, recommending things to do, etc. He even managed to find a doctor who made a house visit on a major Jamaican holiday when my youngest daughter was suffering from a bad ear infection (the price you pay for too much Scuba diving and snorkeling it would seem in the crystal clear water!). This was my first airbnb rental and I’m afraid that Michael and his lovely wife Sofia have set a very high bar for others to try and match. We had a great time at ONE LUXE and look forward to returning to ONE LUXE again in the future.

This place is private, relaxing, and nothing short of absolutely amazing. Great scenery, awesome decorPerfect for business travelers, couples, or if you just want a couple days to unwind and unplug by your self. The host is incredible as well and really makes sure your stay is comfortable. If you're planning to stay in the ocho rios area of Jamaica, this place, in my opinion, is the best option you could choose.

I had the opportunity to be one of the first guests to stay at this stunning property. From the moment I stepped inside, it was obvious the time and care that was put into designing this gorgeous "home away from home"--incredibly trendy and posh, it was a dream to stay!
Tiring of the cookie-cutter resorts throughout the Caribbean, staying in this Villa allowed me to experience Jamaica like a local and enjoy the sights and sounds of Ochi on my own terms--which was absolutely amazing! Having our own private Villa allowed us to mix our own drinks while enjoying the gorgeous pool deck listening to our own music via the portable bluetooth speaker (so fun!) and take the 3 minute trip to the same stretch of gorgeous beach the resorts are located on without all of the restrictions of a big chain resort.
We were able to check out the shops, bars, restaurants and local markets and really SEE Jamaica! Michael and Sofia were the most gracious hosts and even took us sightseeing through Fern Gully, touring us through the mountains and heart of REAL Jamaican villages. They shared their favourite restaurants with us, made knowledgeable recommendations for activities and sights to see in and around the area and really made us feel at home--even encouraging us to partake in the fruits of the surrounding gardens (coconuts and fresh limes!). Being close to town there were lots of options for picking up our own groceries and enjoying the upscale kitchen to cook our own meals when we wanted to as well!
So much attention to detail was given to the Villa itself, right down to the beautiful pool lights at night, and the trendy blue lights that surrounded the perimeter of the ceiling in our room. I loved stargazing and enjoying the jacuzzi tub under the moon on the rooftop, listening to the coki frogs at night--so relaxing! I enjoyed the wifi that was accessible throughout the property for taking care of business responsibilities throughout my stay as well.
I highly recommend this Villa to couples, friends and small families. I felt safe in the gated community and Villa itself, as well as off of the property while exploring through town and enjoying the beach. I look forward to staying again!
