Great place. We were able to store our bags after check out free of charge while we visited the Dunn River Falls.

Beautiful, young and clean hostel in ocho rios. We spent two nights in a mixed dorm for about 80$ but worth it. Wifi accessible. Rooftop with bar, benches and chairs to stay together at night. Staff super nice and available. A minute walking to the beach. 10 min taxi from dunn’s river falls. I’d very recommend this place.

Top two things about this place is the location (location!) right on main street your not missing anything in the town and travelling from another parish is easy as the both taxis-es and buses terminate in the town and the hotel is less than 10 mins away. ( i traveled from Kingston to ocho Rios at 10 p.m.)
The room is beautiful (spacious and bright) and the property overall is small and simple. The only downside is that check out is at 11 a.m. instead of 12 o'clock and the breakfast is minuscule (which ties back to the hotel being right in town so its easy to leave to get a real meal.) the staff there was very helpful (SATA big up yourself!) .. will return.response / report this review -

the hostel is in a great location. the front desk staff was great especially sata princess and shanta . they have security at night. they have breakfast in the morning the hot item is oatmeal / porridge which i found out is oatmeal i pass. the have toast ,banana , calluta jamaica spinach tea and coffee. u must bring ya own food. i suggest bringing everything in ya luggage. jamaica food is expensive in supermarket, kfc is across the street, bring combo lock for locker take pic with phone just in case u forget it. bring towels r they will rent them. if u like fancy tissue bring it they supply tissue just not fancy..the dorms are cool and very safe i went alone and had no problem.. use common sense keep valuables in locker dont travel alone at night. taxi cost 100 jamaican dollars. the hostel only has change for us dollars for jamaican dollars. they sell soda and beer at hostel. i met the owner which was cool a real person. i left extra items when i left. i started with 2 suitcase left with 1 empty.

This place is awesome for the cost. The location is great and the staffs are welcoming and seems to love what they do, especially the front desk staff, Shanaye, Sata, and Princess and of course Eadie at the bar who interacts well with the guests and keeps us entertained. I highly recommend reggae hostel and I definitely will be visiting soon.😁🇯🇲💯👊

When you walk through the door, you'll see a sign saying that Reggae Hotel was awarded the best hostel in Jamaica from Trip Advisor --with very good reason. The hostel is clean, fun, and very safe. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, and every morning Beverly cooks up a phenomenal breakfast that's free! If you're in Ocho Rios, you don't want to miss out on this hostel!

My stay at the reggae hostel was amazing. The staff was excellent, Sata was great with giving us directions on how to get around town. Later he took a group of us out to a night club, I had a great time and a memory I will never forget. The rooms were great,clean and comfortable. The only hotel I will stay at in ocho Rios.

One of the major pluses to this place is its location - we could pretty much walk to any shop or beach in the vicinity. I have to give a thumbs up also to the condition of the room and the bathroom - we are pretty big on cleanliness and we really appreciated the room and the bathroom being clean. In addition, the room was as advertised when we made our booking, that again we appreciated. We also think the price we paid was good for the room (even though we did get a discount).
A few downsides however. It took us almost an hour to be checked in without an explanation as to why - this kinda put a dent in our stay because we wanted to maximize the time spent seeing we were only staying for one night - and we arrived there a few hours before our check-in time so no haste was put in getting our room ready. Also, the wifi didn't really work out for us as we couldn't get a signal in our room - it should have been available anywhere on the premises.
Despite all this, the staff did try to make us feel welcome by having a warm spirit and ensuring our stay was good after checking in.response / report this review -

Very enjoyable, relaxing stay. My husband and I had a private room - nice and spacious, clean, comfortable, air conditioned, awesome staff, great beach right there, nice balcony, close to everything. Kettle, microwave and fridge in room were a solid bonus as was the cold drink on arrival! Loved it, thanks

The best place to stay. The friendliness of all the staff is amazing, very clean and friendly all the time. If you have any questions about transportation and places to meet they will provide you with all the information. People very nice and always smiling. I would definitely go back.

The service was awesome. We liked our room. It was bigger than we imagined and the tqin beds were big enough for two. The breakfast was awesome because I was able to make my own omelette. There were bananas, cookies and good coffee. It's right beside the beach and at the heart of the city.

I booked here because I've always read great reviews about it. Upon arrival, the facilities are very good - staff is always friendly and smiling and can easily recommend activities for you based on what they know is happening in town.
The AC worked, room was cleaned daily - they have irons available (for free) and the water wasn't hot but it wasn't icy cold either.
Overall, a pretty good experience - there are any food options available within walking distance - fast food, local food, a supermarket and a few casual dining spots. Had a great time!response / report this review -

Excellent location - right next to the beach and the shopping centres (including food store). Has shared kitchen and lasure zone on the roof. Fabulous and helping staff. Very recommended.

So I have to say this hostel is pretty amazing! Sata and Chanelle were excellent with their customer service! Also room very clean with AC and hot water. Nice place to chill as well getting to meet people from around the world!
