The rooms were quite noisy. You can hear neighboring rooms very clearly and their movement because creaking wooden floors. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and AC cold. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Tight parking. Overall hotel is good for corporate stays.

Beautiful and cozy. The staff is very friendly. The food is awesome and the rooms are great! The preferred place to stay when I come to Montego Bay for sure.

We used Altamont West for two days, two separate conferences of 40 people per day. Altamont West has the most REASONABLE rates in the entire parish of Saint James. 5 stars from me.

I just love this diamond on the strip of MoBay.
The staff is warm and welcoming. They love taking care of us and we appreciate it.
It's just what you need to
be in the thick of things, if you don't mind the road noise. It's a quick walk to 2 local beaches, a club (where the locals go for good music and drinks), and restaurants. There is a small pool, an in house restaurant that serves up good local fare. I've stayed here multiple times and will keep going back. It's also very close to the airport. 👌response / report this review -

Great, friendly staff. Clean facilities. This is a great place to stay if you are looking to take in MoBay and its culture as opposed to staying behind the walls of a resort.

A nice little motel right in the city. Free breakfast and a decent pool behind. A nice open area w/ a piano and furnishings to hang out in during the evening.

Rooms small and very basic. Only a tiny window in the bathroom that goes to an internal hall so there's no natural ventilation Not easy to dry bathing suit and towels. Forget abt it
We were 2 adults and a kid and They only gave us 2 towels. We had to request a 3rd towel at least 3 times they always said They would bring it to our bedroom and we kept waiting last time we said we were going to wait there so They finally handed it to us.
It's a very noisy place You can hear everything at night when you're trying to get some rest.
They offer breakfast however it is not a buffet It will be the same thing day after day (American and Jamaican), no variations at all, so I would suggest you don't go with this option if you are staying for more than 2 days. It's better if you eat outside, it will be cheaper and at least you can try something different.
Location is good, you can walk to the beach shops etc
There is no water machine!!!! You have to buy each time

Quiet getaway hotel found on Gloucester Avenue which is considered the 'hip strip' of Montego Bay in walking distance of all the happenings and attractions.the Spa attached to it Body Bliss, the name speaks for itself, is heavenly

It's a cozy spot for a over night stop. Enjoyed the Jamaican breakfast. A pool is on property which the kids couldn't get enough of.

Altamont is my go to place if I need to overnight in montego bay. The property doesn't really offer much to do. However, the rooms are well kept and spacious despite the properties small look and the staff is always warm and friendly.
Manu options are tasty and have gotten better overtime. I'm always pleased when I stay here.response / report this review -

I loves the decor and vibrant colors. There was no elevator and this is a challenge for vacationers who have heavy luggage. We stayed in room 203. Room was ok.

Its nice the rooms are like one of the nicer motel 6 in america. Its close to everything, staff are friendly good security. It has a safe in it, air conditioning works, hot water takes a sec to get hot but it works good good water pressure i would stay again. Looks exactly like the pictures.

we got a room with no windows, which is nice since they have air conditioning. It was little noisy, perhaps from the air conditioning machine outside the bedroom. The bathroom was big, the showers also good and the bed was confortable. Well located, in front of a public beach and on the same street of shops and restaurants.
