Came here to smoke Hukka. They give you a good amount and replace the coals often for you, we were there smoking for about 2 hours. We also got the most delicious ice tea lemonade I have ever had. It was a great atmosphere in a great location.
After some difficulty finding this place (the tent awning out front obstructed the name, I entered this highly recommended establishment. And, OH! I am so glad I did. From the cashier to the barista to the fellow sippers, I experienced class and conversation of an upperclass.
The interior is lovely and warm and I will say elegant several times.
Add to that the mudslickthick hotchocolate with a flowerdollop of cream in a side bowl and a silver spoon to ladle and lick. Delectable.
The price: reasonable at 3E.
NOTE: They were setting up for an aperitif buffet which they invited me to sample (caviar finger sandwiches and cheese pastries were my choices). If I were in town longer, i would haunt .
The place was packed and service was impressively quick. Hot chocolate was delicious.
After being seated we waited for about 20 minutes for a waiter to come and pick up our order. At least three waiters were present and preparing tables and although we gave signs that we want to order none of them came over. The terrace was only occupied by about 10-20% and still no service. Very arrogant behavior.
Definitely not coming again.
Great location but service was slow and waiter was not very friendly. When we first sat down our waiter came over after a matter of seconds, maybe 1 minute max, and we had not yet decided on a drink or food. After placing our drinks order we asked for 2 minutes to decide on what food we would like, we were then left sitting there for another 20 minutes.
My husband's food was brought out first and the waiter said that my order would take "another 20 minutes or so".
The cocktail and food I ordered were nice but I was not impressed by the level of service at all.
Pricey, yes, but the chocolate is truly amazing. Thick, dark, and so rich.
The best risotto I have ever had, with a view.
The view is nice, but the food is pricy and not that good. Go somewhere else.
Got un boudino rizo (bun of rice)
Rivoire is in s stunning location with wonderful views of the piazza. There is plentiful outdoor seating, cover in case of rain or sun, and an excellent menu.
The waiting staff are quick and friendly and happy to help however they can. The food is gorgeous and fine traditional Italian fare. Easily in the top three restaurants we tried.
