One of the best campsites in Europe. I have stayed at many campsites in my lifetime and this is certainly up there with the best. Prior to my last visit in September 2017 (about 10 days ago) I stayed there about 20 years ago. Very little has changed in that time. The staff are always busy cleaning the place up. The pool is swept and cleaned every day, and the views of Firenze (Florence) are absolutely amazing. We stayed in a chalet and it had excellent air conditioning and the bathroom was very clean. That swimming pool was a lifesaver as it was very hot on the days we were there. After watching the tortoises, that have an enclosure on the campsite, for a few minutes each day, it was great just sitting looking out at the views with a decent bottle of wine and some beautiful cheese sandwiches. Staff are very friendly and always able to answer questions about the area in some depth. Lovely experience would definitely recommend it and hope one day to visit again. Fiesole itself is well worth visiting. Beautiful village with many attractions dating back to the Roman era. When the church bells are rung it is so beautiful, and there are shuttle buses running from the campsite to Fiesole so that you can take a bus into Firenze. Stay at the campsite, you wont be disappointed

Great camping ground with modern cabins. Can bring tents and campers. Very close to Florence with a convenient bus. Restaurant had good food and the pool was refreshing (bring your own bathing cap if you don't want to buy one).

This place a bit ruined. Some walls and fences tumbled down. View just from swimming pool where you have to wear cup (buy it for 3 €) and it closes at 7pm. The lavatories not so clean. I think the camping would be a nice place after renovating. The shuttle bus is necessary.🚐

The staff are very personable and helpful. The view from the restaurant is gorgeous and the spaces for the tents are a good size and in the shade from the tree's which made it feel cool even on the hot days. Nice walk to the local town if 10 minutes and 1.5 hour hike to Florence from the campsite.

Superior mobile homes are clean, and nice. Beds comfortable, and shower great. For a few nights stay really good. There is a pool which is good. Fiesole is only a short distance away which is walkable but there are shuttle buses running to and from through the out the day.

Fantastic camping place with great facilities such as Iron room, swimming pool and a kitchen. The staff are lovely especially Tanya.

Amazing camping village with nice chalets, mobile homes and caravan Parkinglot. Swimming pool with a wonderful view on Florenz. 20 min with the bus to city center. We enjoyed it very much. Good for younger visitors too.

Review
The campground is situated in the hills overlooking Florence and 20 minutes walk to the village of Friesole, from where there is a regular bus service to and from Florence.
The campground is looking generally shabby and many of the pitches are small.
The staff are efficient and capable however.
The worst feature was getting there, requiring negotiating through many very narrow streets.response / report this review -

This place is wonderful. It has a splendid view and the air is very fresh. It is settled upon a hill that offers really nice and pleasant stay.

Just great! Superb places with an astounishing view over Firenze and Fiesole. The staff is friendly and very helpfull. The prices are good and the available facilities are complete, clean and appropiate. There is a shuttle bus at your demand that brings you down the mountain to the center of Fiesole. From here you can just transfer on public transport tot Firenze in 20 minutes. All tickets can be bought at the camping.
Showers an toilets are clean and adequate in number. The restaurant is good, but somewhat expensive. The camping places are both suitable for tents and mini-vans. I don't know about campers/caravans.
Staying more than 5 nights? The staff gets even more friendly and reward you with a litlle gift and the sincere wish to see you again. Just great!response / report this review
