Phenomenal dining experience. The food was exquisite.the service was top-notch, there were extras added to our meal. The restaurant is hidden but once you find it you are in for a treat.

Awesome pastries! The strudel and tarts are a must-try! Friendly staffs. Came for the schiacciata alla fiorentine but it is available only in February :( if you ever visit florence in feb do drop by here!

Giorgio is of the best and most famous pastry shop and bakery in Florence. Unfortunately, is often very crowded. If staying in line for ordering and paying doesn't scare you, here will get the best cakes in Florence.
There's not really much choice of cakes actually, and that's the beauty of this place: it's typical and offers only its specialities.
Ask for a "Schiacciata with cream", it's the very best you can have. (the large one is for 10 people, but bear in mind everyone will eat more than one slice, guaranteed)
You can also order sandwiches or lunch dishes but I don't think there's enough room and quiet to enjoy them.
Come early, have your great cake seating outside or enjoy it at home with friends and family.
