Top food for reasonable prices! This was the best food we have had in a week spent in Bologna and Florence. The steak was the best we had tasted in Italy, the wine menu had good variety and the other pastas complemented the steak well.

Not Five-Stars in a restaurant ambiance sensedefinitely a more comfortable environment for travelers visiting Florence, but the cuisine, the service & the experience definitely makes you feel like you had a 5 Star meal & memory. The service is exceptional and they make you feel like you belong and are a welcome guest & friend. Out of our 4 nights in Florence, we dined at La Buchetta twiceand contemplated going back again our last night. Make a reservationwe got there and our table was waiting for usand language is not an issue as the menu was in multiple languages and everyone spoke multiple languages very well. We also liked that you could see you plates in the final stages of preparation from a TV in the dining area. In the end, it comes down to food quality, ambiance & courtesy and La Buchetta was a 5 Star hit in all three categories. It will be a memory you won’t forget! Enjoy & Buon appetito!!!

An amazing experience of Florentine food culture. We had a superb time, great service, lovely staff, and of course, incredible food. The menu is only in Italian (that's how you know it is authentic!), so the waiter explained EVERY dish to us, including ingredients and taste and style, without needing to look at the menu. We ordered the appetizer to start, a plank (incredibly presented) with 3 types of cheeses and meats, with sauces and toppings and Tuscan honey. What a way to start the experience. We then ordered our main dishes, which are exceptionally amazing, and of very high quality and delicious taste. Afterwards, I ordered the cheesecake which was tremendously light and succulent. A superb experience, one I'd wholeheartedly recommend to anyone in the area. Make sure to book in advance, or maybe get lucky finding a table if you go early.

This ristorante was perfect. I was here with some friends and the dishes were amazing. The atmosphere is unique and the staff was excellent. The waiter was fluent in English and spoke it very well and fast yet he did so in a calm professional and patient manner. They respect your wishes and the berry cream as dessert is a must try. Rather upscale but worth every cent.

Food was delicious and very filling but service left something to be desired. Their hours are not accurate, especially for lunch and they required us to call to make a reservation even though we went there in person to make one since they do everything through their online portal or telephone.

Their menu is split into "Traditional" and "Creative". My friends and I ordered from the Traditional side which was delicious but expect to pay around $15-$20 USD per person.

Very friendly people who work here who are willing to help you understand the menu. The 25 euro prosecco was a bargain and the bruschetta with tomato and mozzarella oh so fresh!

Great Food and Amazing Atmosphere.
Wonderful place in the heart of Florence.
Around 5 min walk from Ponte Vecchio.
Intimate place with great and friendly service.
Great food with nice selection of pasta and meats, including famous Florentine Steak.

Excellent food, wine, & hospitality. Discovered La Buchetta on our last night in Florence. If we where staying another night we would have gone back. What a treat! Wish I had been hungry enough to order the Florentine T-bone, the smallest cut was 2.2lbs. Our two neighboring tables did order it and the T bone looked amazing. The wait staff presented the meat before cooking, and once cooked they carved it off the bone & sliced it table side. I seriously wanted to take a picture of me neighboring table's steak. We had the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms & a grilled veal chop. Both were deliciously. The wait staff was very friendly. I will be back next time I'm in Florence.
