This is an ideal location for exploring the region. The hotel is situated in a private park, hidden away, a short distance from the historic quarter of Martina Franca. It has a certain 'faded glory' but it is well maintained. The staff are friendly, understand English, and overall, it was quiet. Our room (30)was on the back of the hotel, very clean, good decoration, with doors leading on to a balcony. The view isn't much to write about, but it was private and comfortable. The continental style Breakfast is vast! Eat plenty and forget lunch! Just a word of warning - we stayed at the end of October, when the air-conditioning had been switched over to heating, in all the rooms. The temperature, in the room, never fell below 23C at night, even with the Patio doors wide open, all night long, and was 24C + during the day. They switched our heating off BUT the room was always warm.

Quiet place, pretty private and nice looking, very clean rooms. Breakfast was a huge selection, maybe a bit chaotic presented but still fine. Even though it's located at the heart of a town it still is very well reserved and you don't hear the traffic from the road easily

This hotel is fine, just a little like being on the set of The Shining. Maybe it was the out of season vibe, but there was something interestingly disquieting about it. Felt like the ghosts of party parties were haunting it. No air con in the room, quite hard bed, pool out of action, but am not suggesting that was advertised otherwise. Strangely cool lights in bathroom. Short walk from town.
