Cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and experience at the NH Porta Rossa. We upgraded to the 12th century Bell tower presidential suite and it was worth every penny. Three floors of luxury and 360 degree views of Florence! The breakfast spread is a delicious assortment of meats, cheeses, breads and fruits. The hotel itself is within walking distance (500m at most) to all major attractions. We've promised ourselves that we will return one day!

Historic place with outstanding service. Rooms are awesome too. Location can not be better. Over all great choice to stay at. I will come back when I visot Florence next.

Nice place in a great location, immediately surrounded by all the high end shopping you could want. My room was clean and well finished, but for a "superior double" it's fairly small. I haven't tried the restaurants.

Hotel is great, nice rooms and breakfast with fresh ingredients. Poor plumbing though. Restaurant is fancy but food mediocre.

This was exceptional! Stylish, welcoming and stones throw from uffizzi gallery and palazzo Signoria. Probably the best location for a hotel as ponte vecchio, Santa Maria del fiore and Santa Croce all in walking distance. Many times been to Firenze but the first at porta rossa and probably one of the best among the Nh collection. Definitely recommend!

Oldest hotel in Florence. Great situation, beautiful individual rooms, elegant ambience and excellent service. The restaurant which specializes in truffles is exquisite, food is excellent, don't hesitate to eat there. Rooms are interesting, spacious, well equipped and spotless.

Lovely hotel dating from the 13th century. Modern amenities, clean and stylish rooms, very nice breakfast. And well located. Hard to beat at a very reasonable price.
