Hotel is across the street from the train station. Great location. You can walk to any of the major sites in about 15 minutes. Staff are very kind and helpful.

The hotel is very conveniently located right next to the train station, giving easy walking access to the whole city center. Our triple room was very spacious with nice comfortable beds and even a balcony overlooking the station. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and were helpful when we needed to print our tickets for climbing the cathedral. The only downside to the location is the noise from the busy street below, especially the trams, but the windows do keep a lot of the noise out, and it didn't get too warm during our September stay, as the room has air conditioning. The TV is also very small, but we don't use it anyway. Overall, a great expierence for us staying at Hotel Delle Nazioni.

Pros:
Location is great and staff is attentive.

Cons:
The beds are horrific
The internet is atrociously slow. (1Mbps download and upload speeds)

Nice cosy hotel with friendly and helpful service. Free Wifi throughout the hotel and there is a lounge with internet/PCs provided. Highly recommended

Great location and helpful staff. The proximity to the train station may mean that it's not the "prettiest" part of Florence, but it's a short walk, and you can easily see Duomo from the balcony, and of course it is incredibly convenient.
Breakfast is good and staff will make you a real coffee if you ask.

Our room was good; I don't necessarily agree with reviews that say "dated", as everything was very functional and clean, and aspects of the room were quite modern. The bathroom was nice and the beds were comfortable. Free WiFi is available and we really appreciated the very functional air-conditioning! Oh and my friend loved the shutters as he loves sleeping in total darkness.

We would definitely recommend Hotel Delle Nazioni to anyone wanting affordable, comfy and convenient accommodation in Florence.
