Good base for the Rome experience as the buses and metro take you to all of the attractions. Good breakfast to set you up for the day. Also friendly staff willing to help.
Bad hotel. Don't stay there. Cons: Cheaper rooms don't even get sunlight. Not worth the high rates. There weren't enough toiletries. You get only one (1) 1/2 liter bottle of water per guest, per stay. There isn't any refreshments (neither free, nor paid) in the lobby. Pros: Smiling staff, free Wi-Fi. I wouldn't recommend it.
The breakfast was a shambles, there was no roof top bar or room service as advertised and the air con unit in our room leaked. But otherwise clean rooms and polite staff, with a 24HR reception and you had to drop your keys at reception before leaving which eases the stress of possibly losing it. Overall, we found our stay pleasant enough but there could be several improvements.
Every convenient, close to both subway and buses. Supermarket nearby if you need snacks or water. Breakfast had a good selection of pasty. The rooms are small and the bathrooms weren't totally clean
It is very convenient for buses to main parts of the city. The staff are extremely helpful! We did not like our room the first night (too near lift shafts and very claustrophobic) so they changed it for the next 2 nights, fine. The hotel is undergoing renovations so no bar as advertised. Required 2 separate lifts to get to our room. Bathrooms need updating and are small but clean. Breakfast not to our liking, bread and cereal tasteless, so ate lots of croissants! Reception and dining area very gold and blingy and impressive. We got this accommodation for a good price and would go again on that basis.
My experience here is soured by the fact when booking we where not informed of renovation works being carried out. And it is a guessing game which way we have to go to access our room. Through main lobby, through side entrance or even through the hotel next door. Don't have any issue with the room but the service is poor
At best 2 star hotel no bath and in need of refurbished
This is a very nice hotel. My room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels daily. Staff very helpful, especially the gentleman in reception who helped me when I found my purse had been stolen near the Trevi Fountain.
For star hotel. Lovely look- entrance has murals and marble walls. Rooms have beautiful walls and artisan furniture. The beds are nice. One issue I have with almost every hotel including this one- there are about 7,000 light switches, but only two power points. Some other improvements:- the wi-fi could be better, the hairdryer could be better, the air conditioning features could be easier to use
Otherwise, the room is lovely for the price.
Many items broken in the hotel room upon our stay, including: towel racks in the bathroom, bedside lamps, curtains. Room had massive amounts of dust under the bed which appeared to have been there for ages. Mascara remnants on the mirror and curtains as well as a filthy headboard. I have to be honest, coming from Canada and hearing this was a 4* hotel had me excited however it was all in all underwhelming to say the least. 300 euros a night better spent elsewhere!
