No free Wi-Fi. Carpet in room was dirty. Only good thing - very close to Roma Termini.
Average location, good if you have early train or transfer.
The air conditioning doesn't work, so there is no heating, at the reception I was explained that “it is not a winter season yet “( November 8-15 , 2017)
The breakfast: on the photo is what you get maximum, it's poor and it was is fresh only once during my 7days stay: no meat, no cheese, eggs, croissant, donuts and roasted dried packed bread.
Cleaning: this is how I found the room, till end of my stay it wasn’t cleaned
Thought you pay a double room, your visitors will be asked to pay as a guest
WiFi : 5 eur/h
Unfriendly and not helpful staff!
Two days ago my mom got her phone stolen when she was in the bus. Though she could remember which stop she should get off, she did not know how to get back to our hotel. She then went to this hotel and asked the staff if they knew the direction.
The staff was extremely unhelpful and refused to offer any assistance to her. Fortunately, the staff of the hotel next to this pathetic hotel ( The Best Westin) did not show my mom the direction, but also gave her the map so that she could safely go back to our hotel.
Our hotel is just a five minutes walk from this hotel and honestly the staff only need to spend three seconds to tell my mom to turn right then go straight.
My advice is dont book a hotel whose staff did not bother to spend three seconds to help tourists. The hotel next door perhaps will be a better option.
My wife lost some under wears. Our lugage was opened while we travell around. Just realized when we arrived at Monaco.
Free wifi like described is fake. You have yo pay.
Male staff at reception is rude.. if you dont hear clearly what he say, he will shout..
Bed make pain at my back..
Lift is too small for big lugages..
But the location is good. Near Termini station.
We got room with enough space for two and 2 lugages. Great.
No TV, no problem. We arrive at hotel very late and sleep directly.
No problem with cleanliness. Still accepted.
Overall, still not recommended place to stay.
No stars! Appalling hotel. Unfortunately we booked for 4 nights and as we had had previously had everything stolen, passports, credit cards, luggage etc we weren't really in a position to complain. Room smelt foisty, bathroom mouldy, shower and all tiles had black mould everywhere. The red plastic Towel rail and mirror/shelf was so old and dated it was brown in places, and filthy under the shelf, on the third day, their were three toothpaste rings on the shelf from our toothbrush, so obviously wasn't getting cleaned daily. We had to ask for soap. Breakfast limited, you had to ask numerous times for ham and cheese, other than that stale bread, and stale croissants, you could see the old icing sugar under the fresh dusting. And they cut open the back to squeeze jam or chocolate spread in. Would not recommend, does not reflect the pictures. I took some pictures so happy to share them.
Location is really awesome, but everythin in breakfast was sweet, it didn't include anything salty and you pay extra for WiFi
Very nice location, just near to Rome Central hotel. All kinds of transport are available from here. A variety of restaurants are available nearby.
I booked this hotel for 4 nights without breakfast. The employees are very kindly (I could check-in 2 hours before te regular check-in time). Location is great, 3-5 minutes to the train station. The room is very small, out of date and there is a lot of mold in the bathroom (see the pictures below).
Stay away from this place! We booked this hotel since it looked great in pictures and rates were okay, and close to termini. BED BUGS in the beds was a shock despite housecleaning services everyday..
Also, u pay for the wifi and can use only in one device.
We informed the hotel reception about the bed bugs but only received a "sympathetic"shrug.
STAY AWAY!!
Try to avoid this hotel. Is one of the worst. The room was dirty and it looked like it was after the First World War. You don't have enough natural light. My view from the 5th floor was a very nice wall. The breakfast was very poor. You have to pay for the wifi and you can connect with just one device. Air conditioner is not working, is acting like a fan and if you're visiting Rome in summer you'll be sweating like hell even in the night time.
The only good thing is being near the railway station Roma Termini.
