Fine hotel with good rooms, a good breakfast and nice staff. Location is however in the middle of nowhere, just practical if you need to be on this side of town. However there is a railway station close which brings you to the city in half an hour or so.

Room size big. Clean. Bad was breakfast area small limited seat which cause long time to wait for seat n food refill. Not sure why busy breakfast time with heavy crowd only deploy limited service staffs salute the breakfast service staffs keeping their cool.

They shut off the air conditioner at night and said they don't turn it on until 630 am. Me and my wife are extremely hot. The guy in the front desk said to open the windows which we did since we got here and it's still super hot in side. He said sorry and that's it. Didn't try to acomindate us what so ever. The only thing opening the window did was bring in mosquitos which have been attacking us since we went to bed at 10. Wish I could give this place negative stars

The Frontline staff were very rude and any small request was met with a firm No. I don't understand how they manage to run a hotel with just 3-4 staff.This hotel is in the middle of nowhere so if you are thinking of venturing out in the night I would recommend an alternate location. Also if you want to have a half decent breakfast there I would recommend to go early as they take for ever to restock for the "Continental breakfast"

Nice hotel a bit distant from city centre but close to business I was visiting. Greater dinner choice would be appreciated. Rooms are nice, breakfasts really rich

Reasonable business hotel on Rome ring Road. Clean and competent but nothing to do in the immediate area. Can be extremely slow to find the bartender if you want a drink

Hello everyone!!! Please read this review, it will really help.
To start off, the staff at the hotel are very courteous, they will always help and are very polite. The rooms are extremely clean and has air conditioning. But in our stay, the air conditioner was not working so we had to change room. In the fridge, there is water, coke and other drinks but there are only 2 water bottles. So we had a lack of water. The cupboards are very good for fitting in all kinds of clothing, the room is just vey nice and tidy and the beds are really comfortable.
But on the other hand, there is huge downfall. The hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere. There is a station but trains rarely come there. On Christmas day, only 1 train came to La Rustica!! We missed that train so we took a taxi and spent a lot of money. I'm not saying you can't get around Rome, because you can walk through a field and get to train station easily but not many trains go there. Becareful on event days because trains and buses stop working.
There is a huge variety of entertainment in this hotel. There is a billiards table, darts, gym, swimming pool (only in spring and summer, I think, not winter), hockey table, ( I don't know what it's really called), and a computer you can use for 20 min. And the best thing about it is that they are all free! You could use the computer for 20 min, and then login again for another 20 min, but only if no one is waiting. Also, you have free WiFi!

We would have given this hotel a Zero star rating if possible.
My family and their friends stayed at this hotel for their holiday in Rome. They booked their trip via a travel agency so they had no idea until they got to the place itself as to where it was situated. It is located in a bad neighborhood.
My dad was attacked my two men in front of the hotel. They took his bag which contained his passport and money. It happened right in front of the hotel. No one came out to help him. Afterwards, no one even offered assistance like first aid or to call the police. When asked if there should be a recording of what happened, staff just said that the CCTV only covers the driveway.
I have just read about another one star review of another guest and it seems like these thugs could be the same people. The men who assaulted my dad also had a getaway car. That being said, the hotel staff might have an idea that these kind of things happen to people who stay there.. That they are thieves preying on unsuspecting tourists yet they do not warn them about it somehow or employ security personnel outside.
So to people who would stay here, especially tourists, do it at your own risk. You have been warned.response / report this review -

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave me ideas where and how to go. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was also very good. I'm was very happy and hope to come here again
