Stayed here for 5 nights late September 2017. Close to a mile outside Amalfi town. You'll have to walk on the dangerous road to and from the town - with taxis not too interested in taking you on such a short trip.
Hotel is pretty basic with rooms having a small balcony. Rooms are quite old fashioned with shower facilities not great, A bit of noise a few nights when staff were changing shifts which was a bit annoying. Breakfast was just OK - although no real offer of anything apart form the continental spread. Staff were helpful enough but not a hotel to remember and a bit overpriced for what you get.

The most amazing service ever, very helpful, we missed breakfast but still wanted a coffee and they made us an entire tray of fresh pastries, juice and coffee on the house. Photos don't do it justice, rooms are very authentic, vintage Italian style but still very comfortable and cute. The balconies are a good size, still with privacy and the view is just like a postcard with a mix of ocean, the Amalfi cliffs and town. Stunning place, we didn't want to leave

Great views. Helpful staff. Great location but was envious bof the hotels on the ocean side with pools and beach access but alas, they were way more pricey. Would come back.

Il Nido gode di una posizione eccellente!!! Una passeggiata di buoni dieci minuti, lo separa dal centro di Amalfi. La struttura è dotata anche di un parcheggio privato dove poter lasciare l'auto, la qual cosa non è da sottovalutare in un posto come la Costiera Amalfitana. L'arredo interno è in stile liberty, molto curato in tutti i particolari. Le stanze sono tutte molto ampie e pulite, mentre ritengo migliorabile il loro arredo, niente di eccezionale. Anche il bagno è bello ampio con una doccia veramente grande e comoda. Tutte le stanze godono di un panorama fuori dal comune!!!! La colazione non presenta una scelta ampissima, ma ritengo che tutto sommato sia buona. Il personale si è dimostrato gentile e disponibile, anche se per quanto mi riguarda, il primo approccio non è stato dei migliori. Al mio arrivo, non ho trovato nessuno ad accogliermi, ho atteso alla reception quasi un quarto d'ora l'arrivo di qualcuno, nonostante avessi più volte suonato il campanello presente sul bancone. Tutto sommato la mia esperienza è stata molto buona, ci tornerei senza pensarci su tanto.
