Great location, few steps of Duomo (totally by stairs). Hotel have simple decoration, but a good ocean view.

best view for the best bang for buck hotel in the Positano region. Have a public paid carpark near by, for those who drive there (very narrow roads, hire smallest car if possible). Yes you have a good view, but be prepare for long climb when coming back to the hotel as you can see, Hotel is up on the slope of Positano hence the good view.

Great hotel to stay at while in Amalfi for a coupe of days. Our room had a view of the coast, which gave us nice scenery to go to sleep and wake up to. While I took the air conditioning for granted (since this is my first Italian hotel), it was invaluable to not have to sleep with the windows open and invite bugs in.
The negatives are that they (the hotel) wasn't very responsive when we made our reservation. We asked them to confirm our booking since we added a couple nights on to our stay, and it took them a long time to get back to us (weeks of I remember correctly). They also didn't have a room for us our first night, but they arranged for us to stay at a different hotel the first night. Not terrible, but mildly frustrating.
Be warned that there are about 80 steps to reach the hotel, and their breakfast isn't great. We decided to skip their's and go to local places instead.response / report this review -

Rooms are a good size, decorative a little old fashioned in my opinion however very clean and the bathroom has a great shower. Breakfast is a normal mainland European (cold meats and sweets). Well worth the money and in a great location. Would recommend 👍

A rare jewel in such a lovely place! We stayed only one night but it was a lovely stay. Our room had a window with a seaside view. It was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The bed wasn't typically hard but soft and provided a restful nights sleep. The bathroom was the most interesting part also being spacious with beautiful blue tile sourced locally. Complimentary breakfast was included but with no eggs.
