  We enjoyed our stay in Florence at the B&B Hotel Firenze Novoli. It was very convenient for the bus into the town which was cheap and frequent. There is a good choice of restaurants nearby within reasonable walking distance. Would have preferred tea & coffee making in the room. Very helpful staff and a good breakfast.

  Perfect place to stay for an early flight. Close to the airport, clean, comfortable bed, nice neighborhood. Carmen, at the front desk, was so helpful! She held our bags since we were early and told us about her sister's delicious gelato place!

  We were searching for the hotel with free private parking as we were traveling by car in Italy. The location was perfect as we don't have to drive through the town. There is a bus station that take us directly into town. The staff were nice and friendly. The room was a bit small but adequate and meet our expectations. The breakfast was 7.20 Euro per person and good value.

  This hotel deserves only one star just for the bus station which is in front of the hotel and brings you directly to the city center of Florence. The wifi was also good. The hotel looks more like hostel than hotel. The room was not clean,especially the toilet, the shower was broken. There is no 24h reception. In one sentence, not good choice for a hotel.

  Prostitutes in front of hotel & Noisy hotel
  
  We are used to B&B hotels (France and Italy) which are usually good value for money. However, we stayed at the Novoli hotel for 3 nights, and had a completely different experience ! The hotel is in a really bad area with lots of prostitutes right in front of the hotel every night, we could see them just below our window (room 303), and there seems to be a lot of demand for their services, which was very disturbing ! Added to this, the hotel is on a really busy road and you can hear the traffic noise even with the windows closed.
  Out of 3 nights there, we only got one night of proper sleep ! The walls are so paper thin that we could hear all the noise from the 2 rooms next to ours : a man singing opera till 1.30 AM the second night, and on our last night, a bunch of 4 inconsiderate Australians or New-Zealanders who made an absolute racket till 3.30 AM ! We had an extremely long drive the following day and badly needed to sleep, but with nobody at the hotel reception during the night, it was impossible to make a complaint. Added to this, the “double” bed was simply 2 single beds pushed together, which was not the most comfortable.
  The state of the bathroom was also not the best, with a toilet roll holder coming off the wall, and mould in the shower.
  Lighting in the room was also not great, with no main light in the room, just side lights.
  While the owner was helpful enough with places to visit in Florence, he was very unhelpful with our reservation. We had been unable to book online as the booking system of their site wasn’t functioning, so I had booked over the phone, explaining the situation. But the owner refused to give me the special deal price, or the 10% discount (from having stayed at another B&B hotel before), as these could only be applicable if booking was made online (which of course couldn’t be done as their system was down) !
  
  As mentioned, this is not a reflection of other B&B hotels, which are usually decent, but we will never go back to this particular hotel Novoli, and I definitely don’t recommend it to anyone else.
  
  Only good points : decent car park, and next to the 22 bus that takes you to the heart of Florence.

  Large bedrooms and decent shower. Breakfast very nice for the price but there are alternatives in the neighborhood just a short walk away. Maintenance could be better but responsive staff fixed things quickly. Very friendly front desk. Excellent location for #22 bus which goes straight to train station and town centre

  Its basic motel style. Room was very clean but compact. Microwave in lobby was dirty.
  Lighting in room was poor and insufficient sockets for charging electric devices. Light switches behind pillows very annoying. No room safe.
  Staff very friendly. Very helpful.
  Breakfast buffet was alright.
  No local shops within walking distance.
