Quasi non si nota la vecchiaia del palazzo, la camera è semplice ma molto carina e comoda, in bagno c’era sia la vasca che la doccia, thè e caffè gratis, colazione abbastanza buona, receptionist molto gentile e disponibile, pulizia ottima

Un'ottima soluzione per dormire a Firenze. Situato nella zona d'oltrarno a 5 minuti a piedi da Ponte Vecchio in una posto molto tranquillo. Il personale è gentilissimo : ci hanno fornito molte informazioni interessanti sulla città e sui luoghi dove poter cenare. Ottima pure la colazione!

I thought this place was good value, friendly and homely as the name suggests. Check out the craft beer place close by (the Doppelbock is really good) and order the mixed grill at the Osteria in the corner of Piazza Santo Spiritos (book first). Pitti Palace very close by.

The name says it all - feels like home here - clean and comfy. Just blocks away from main attractions and still quiet. Amenities and groceries just round the corner too. On days when you want affordable Chinese food, can be had for €2.50 on the next street. Wifi is free and the water heater works great!

The other side of the river (Oltrarno) is the thrue Florence with the artisan shops and the "fiorentini" (traditionalist people)
