The place is pretty good for the price. One thing that definitely needs fixing is door/windows sound-proofing.

Nice price range compared to quality, there is a garage close by(25e per day), very safe, VERY clean hotel

Booked a single room with external private toilet. On the hotel website, it stated there is aircon and wifi. Turned out there isn't. When complained, reason given was it is only 45eur a night and i cant expect much. Ridiculous. Difficult to sleep in a small room with no aircon in the hottest time of the year. Felt cheated.

Quiet and a very good room. The street is pretty deserted, but it's only 20 feet from a more busy thoroughfare so it is quiet but still convenient. The rooms are adequate with a solid bath. They had a mixup with the reservation that could have been handled better, but they sorted it out and we're very nice otherwise.

The night manager who was there in the first two nights was rude. He tried to scam us by trying change us extra for breakfast when we had just booked for the room. Next day when we asked for a cup of hot water (my wife was sick) around 9pm, he said go buy one from a shop because coffee machine is closed (seriously no kettle??).

    Keep in mind that:
    1. Breakfast is NOT free (either included as a package or a 6 euros per person)
    2. Curfew at midnight
    3. Charge you 3 Euros a piece if you want to keep your luggage with them after you checkout (This was a surprise as it was a first for me despite staying at over 100 hotels of various ratings over the world! This wasn't advertised anywhere at the time of our booking)
    4. No elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up (20-30 steps to first floor, another 15-20 steps to second floor)

    Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Perfect stay in July 2015. The location was not too far away from attractions. Breakfast was excellent and provided a good selection. Room was very spacious, AC worked great (even with it over 100 degrees Fahrenheit outside). Owner provided us with an early breakfast so we could make an early train on full stomachs. I would recommend this Hotel as an excellent choice without breaking the bank.

I also found this hotel from Rick Steves' guide book. Staying with this hotel is a very good experience. While the exterior is not very impressive, the room is great. For me, a small room is all I need.

The price is just great and I got a very good deal by booking with them directly.
The room is very clean with AC.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
A laundry is only 3 minute away.
It is just a short 5 minute walk to historic center.
You got optional breakfast so you can decide whether you want to eat there or outside.
Free Wifi with one computer in the lobby if you do not have your own PC.

This is one of the best hotels I stayed when I do my backpack trip in Europe and I would highly recommend it.
