We had a small group tour. Paula had so much to say about Florence! Be prepared for a very professional guided tour, that is well prepared, well coordinated with city attractions and rendered in telling and accessible language. Among other things, we learned 'in situ' about how rich families project their wealth in churches and buildings, how the Italian language was forged through history, how the body politic was run through intrigue, and how the city developed through the centuries. Very good value for the price!
