Did the Florence cooking tour/class, entitled "Wanna be Italiano". Marco was the chef in charge of us, and he was excellent - friendly, helpful, very witty and knew his food back-to-front. My wife and I really enjoyed it, and the food we cooked was beautiful. Thank you Marco, sincerely!

My first introduction to Florence was through the walking tour with Brenda. It as just an amazing experience and one I would recommend to any traveller to the city. Brenda's knowledge of the history of the city was endless. I was in awe. The tour surpassed all my expectations and will be with me forever. Thank you Artviva.

Wow, what a difference to view old paintings thru the eyes of an expert in art! I have always found the old Christian themed paintings to be boring and repetitive. We took two tours with this company and I left with both a much improved knowledge of and appreciation for classical art. Expensive but worth it, really made the museums we visited come alive stories in history.

An amazing tour, our Guide Ishmael was terrific. His knowledge of Michaelangeo's David was extraordinary, along with his humour and interaction with the group. Included the 2 children in the group in the discussion along with insightful information. Congratulations on giving an insightful and knowledge walking tour. If I'm ever in Florence again would definitely use Artiva again. Thanks from a grateful Australian.

We had a fantastic Uffizi tour with Barbara. She was clearly well-versed in art history in general and also in-depth knowledge of the works in the Uffizi gallery. She also managed to keep our elementary school-aged child interested for two hours, which is a feat! She was passionate, witty and entertaining. Bravissima!

Did 3 different tours with this group. All 3 were excellent. All had knowlegable and friendly guides who answered every question thown at them and could speak several languages. The stand out was Clause and the Uffezi- your passion for art captured my attentions and engaged me the entire time (and I am as non arts-y, average person as they come knowing very little of art and Early europesn history) You made me appreciate the art so much more because you put the pieces in context for me with the stories behind the painting or sculpture. I was even inspired enough to buy the gallery guide book to lear more. Well done!😃

My girlfriend and I are generally fans of the freebie/pay-what-you-want tours but after our experience with Art Viva we will no longer be doing these tours . Angelo (Day Tour) and Barbara (Uffizi) were absolutely superb and well worth the money. Their energy and good nature made dealing with sometimes potentially tourist packed destinations very relaxing and enjoyable and they were able to properly explain the meaning behind many of the Churches (and their frescos) and the paintings we sawsomething you wouldn't get on a free tour. I highly recommend Art Viva if you're only going to visit florence once then spend the money and be blown away :)

We went for the Original Florence Walk with our guide Ishmael. It was fantastic - he was patient and humorous and spent alot of time explaining the history of the area. Highly recommended!
