  I thought the settlement part of the exhibit was very interesting. I had lunch in the cafe. The staff was very friendly and the lamb soup was excellent.

  The museum was good, informative enough. My wife and I preferred the settlement part over the saga section, being more inclined to factual history.
  
  The restaurant was however really good. We both just had a light meal, being late in the day, but both meals we had were delicious. Worth the previous highly placed reviews. Recommend.

  Overall amazing experience.
  Both museum tours were very informative, interactive, and even a bit silly, which made them quite enjoyable (for me, someone who has trouble paying attention)
  Then the food - oh. my. god. Absolutely to die for. The buffet was very, very worth it, everything was delicious and even though i was full I went back for thirds because I would never have such amazing dishes again.
  HIGHLY recommend including in your visit to Iceland

  The waiter was quite pushy so that we take the buffet instead of having a look at the menu. The buffet is nice, but don't expect meat/fish or Icelandic specialities. The museum is fine, but the visit is linear, only possible trough an audioguide at a specific pace (no skipping or rewind possible) at 30 minutes each.
