Hugguleg sveitagisting í meira en 100ára gömlu íbúðarhúsi með einstaka sál. Heitur pottur fyrir utan. Margt að sjá og gera í nágrenninu; gönguleiðir í öllum áttum upp Bæjargil eða inn Selgil, listamaðurinn Páll Guðmundsson með vinnustofu og sýningar rétt hjá, golfvöllur sundlaug veitingastaðir og fyrirtækið Into the glacier með starfsemi rétt hjá.

The Gamli Guesthouse was an amazing stay in Iceland. The landlord was super hospitable and as we entered we were met with fresh waffles and coffee. He was glad to sit with us and tell us about Iceland as well as his travels around the world. The rooms are clean and nice with a very homey vibe about them. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone passing in the area and its probably even worth the slight detour.
