Loved this museum! It was very well done, interactive, and the atmosphere really helped with the stories.
It was very interesting to hear the different perspectives on what the monsters were/looked like, etc. from the thousands of people they interviewed.

You can't go wrong with this museum. It is bigger and better than it appears to be from the outside.
All of the Icelandic sea.monsters are covered by audio and visual exhibitions as well as standard displays and dioramas.
There are several other things in the area making it good for a day trip.

We went here the last day it was open for the season and got to talk with the guy who runs the place. It was a fun stop and interesting to learn about the sea monsters.

Beautiful museum. Nice ambiance and decoration. Good for children and adults. Not very expensive. Worth the stop if you're driving around Iceland. People were very nice. There was no guide but the exposition was informative by itself.

Tons of information and a really cool atmosphere. I was surprised. When you walk through the door to the exhibit it's like suddenly being below deck on a ship. Worth the visit.

Niente di particolare, ma comunque molto curato. Possibile entrare anche solo x caffè e torta, ottimo il caffè, fra i migliori presi in Islanda.

We did not visit the museum, but the cafe is warm with good coffee. The town itself is desolate
