Delicious food and friendly, efficient service! As part of a group I was able to sample most of their Icelandic specialty dishes. They were delicious! The restaurant was able to substitute excellent alternatives for the endangered species such as whale and puffin.

A pleasant surprise and every dish was as good as the last onephenominal.
We had the 8 coarse traditional Icelandic dinner which included Puffer, mink whale, ling cod, local lamb and lobster.
The Spanish wine was excellent as well.
    best meal ever!

Tapas in a country with a very robust, interesting cuisine was a good choice. One of our last night's we came here and tried just about everything I had come to Iceland to try in one go. They were also very accommodating, switching out minke whale on their tasting menu for Foal for us. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice comfortable setting to try all the Icelandic dishes they've been wanting to

The food here was incredible!! A little pricey but no more than you'd expect from a decent restaurant in the centre of Reykjavik. My partner and I had the Icelandic feast tasting menu and a chef's choice tasting menu and every single dish was delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was cosy and friendly, more like a rural restaurant than a high quality city centre one. Hands down the best meal we had in our whole trip and totally worth the price. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We were here in Iceland and my husband hoped to try many of the traditional Icelandic dishes including puffin and whale. The tapas option provided this and he said it tasted amazing. I eat gluten free and the staff was knowledgeable and substituted food so that my entire meal was safe and so delicious. The atmosphere was great and the staff was friendly. It exceeded my expectations. The portions were large enough that we left full and happy. Thank you SO much for such a positive experience! I would recommend this to anyone visiting Reykjavík!

Since you are visiting iceland. You should try the whale and puffin meat. It is not easy to find them but here, you can find both at about 2000krona each plate. Very good experience very good place. No booking required

Smiles and friendliness from the get-go at this perfect mix of tapas style dining and Icelandic cuisine.
We had the Icelandic Feast Menu with samples of, what seems like, the best Iceland has to offer: puffin, lamb, arctic char etc cooked perfectly. Not a single disappointment taste-wise.
The price is on the high side (€200+ for two people with drinks) , but very much worth it.

Amazing food! The portions are huge; we ordered 4 dishes and couldn't finish them even though they were lovely. Definitely recommend the parsnip croquettes and the secreto pork dish. Drinks wise we ordered Strawberry Mojitos and didn't look back! Service was great, they were welcoming and very friendly. The place itself is relaxing and cosy. A definite must if you like tapas (in fact if you just like food). Strongly recommend!

I tried the 7 course authentic Icelandic cuisine and it was a dining experience I wish for everyone! Although I wasn't a huge fan of the puffin, it was so fun to try and everything else was mouth-wateringly, dream about the next day goodness. I surprisingly LOVED the whale! The service was great and the food was better, so clearly this is a must-go-to when in Reykjavik!

Excellent food and service. Enjoyed a nice meal after the Blue Lagoon. Generous portions and local menu items. Atmosphere was cozy and warm on a cold night.

Absolutely amazing. We had our honeymoon dinner here. The wait staff were awesome, and the Icelandic sampler was by far the best meal of my life. What a cosy place. Thank you for being so amazing Tapas!

Really enjoyed the Tapas experience (Sept 20, 2017). We had Icelandic Feast & Adventure Feast (chefs choice) tapas. Great seasonings, sauces, presentation. Fun to try all kinds of items. A friendly smiling staff tell you what each plate is as they serve you. Highly recommend if in Reykjavik (15 min walk from The church). Oh and cozy old rock & beams building just adds to the experience.

Amazing place. We had the Icelandic menu and everything was cooked to perfection. It is a casual place but they serve fine food to the last detail. Portions are big and prices are friendly. Friendly staff. I will come back here for sure!

The best meal we had in Iceland! We ordered the Icelandic Feast and had a great time trying out the "traditional" Icelandic dishes. There were problems with our order (took about an hour between two of the courses) but they handled it really well, serving us their dessert platter and coffee on the house to make up for it! Each of the desserts was to die for, and most of the dinner dishes were great as well. Our personal favourites were the minke whale and the lobster. Both the food and service here were wonderful, would recommend to anyone visiting the city!

This was one of the best meals of my life so far. I had the Journey into the Unknown, and my partner had the Icelandic Gourmet Feast. Including dessert, we each had eight courses of incredibly tender meats, fish, and sides and sauces that were exciting all on their own. Puffin, whale, tuna, Ling, lobster, quail, duck, beef, and lamb all made memorable appearances on our plates. My advice: don't eat too much of the bread. The portions may be small but collectively they will more than satisfy.

We took the Icelandic gourmet menu. Some parts of it were not to my liking, but overall was nice. Puffin, whale and skyr dessert were the winners. Really nice service. Courses were served perhaps in a fast pace, but as I was hungry, then I didn't mind. Definitely book beforehand if you want to go there on Friday evening, as it's super crowded

Had some OK tapas, but too expensive. You can get better value for money elsewhere.

Incredible! The atmosphere is chill, the staff are incredibly friendly and unassuming, and more than anything the food is off the charts. We loved the spin on some classic dishes, and the unique and creative flair for small plates did not go unrecognized. You dont want to miss this spot.

Great service, AMAZING food, very pricey but worth it. Found the Mexican restaurant vibe, with traditional Icelandic gourmet food to be comical.

They are excellent at cooking all kinds of meat. Highly recommend. Their service was above average for the area. The atmosphere is a little dark since they are essentially in a cellar.
