Great view! There's an elevator so you dont have to walk up 5 floors. We only stopped in for drinks but everything on the menu and what was served while we were there looked and smelled delicious. Pricing was fairly standard, not over the top expensive. If you're looking for a unique spot for lunch or dinner, or even drinks, add this to your list.

We didn't try the food, but it was a nice place to stop for an afternoon pint and a nice view of Akureyri. Modern, posh decor and good service. The food at the table next to us looked and smelled delicious!

I took pictures of the menu do you can see the prices. We checked our nearby places and the prices are about the same everywhere - expensive! But it is very beautiful and cozy inside. The way dishes are served is very instagramable and they are also delicious!

It's hard to give a restaurant 5 stars when it leaves such a hole in your wallet, but that's down to Iceland, not the restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was divine. It had the best ambiance of anywhere in we ate in Akureyri and maybe even Iceland. My query about how well the fish was cooked was dealt with with genuine concern and immediately cooked more to my liking and both wine and cocktails had a great range. If I could have eaten there again I would have.

A very nice restaurant with a great view of the fjörð. Prices are pretty standard for a dinner in Iceland but it was easily the best seafood I've had in years. The Seafood Trio was delicious and the fish was cooked to perfection. So nice not to have overcooked fish! It came with little dollops of mashed potatoes with mustard seed and was fantastic. I'll need to experiment until I can replicate that recipe. My wife ordered the Char and it was delicious as well. Great, crispy skin cooked perfectly.

If you are in Akureyri and looking for a good sit down dinner Restaurant Strikið is the perfect spot.

Great spot with a great view overlooking the fjord. Don't miss the N-Iceland drink! We had five different entrees and they were all excelllent. Outstanding service and management. Highly recommend.

Lovely place for a reasonably priced, delicious dinner made with fresh ingredients. We loved everything we ordered - smoked goose, salmon and langoustine, and fish of the day Ling cod. Compliments to the chef!

An excellent fine dining restaurant with a mix of locals and tourists. We had the three course meal with puffin/reindeer and the lamb. All exceptional. The chefs did an excellent job blending complimentary flavours. The lamb was some of the best we had on our trip.

Delicious! The food was great, the wait staff were extremely helpful and the views were stunning. Would definitely eat here again
