  My family had a great stay at the Stóra-Vatnshorn house. We loved being so close to history - Eiríksstaðir, the home of Erik the Red, is 500 meters away. The valley the house is in is beautiful, and from all rooms you have great views of the surrounding mountains, lake, and valley.
  
  Stóra-Vatnshorn is a great value for your money. We really enjoyed having a gas grill and made use of it. We also liked that we had plenty of room!

  Excellent value for money for this place, really isolated and calm. Bungalows are very well equipped, warm and clean. Perfect getaway.
