Camping is well located near Reykjavik Center. Campsite was free, all facilities opened, we could do our laundry which was cool after a 10 days trip. However toilet and showers were very dirty.
I would recommend this camping only to travelers starting their trip if arriving late at the airport or travelers finishing their trip and travelling early morning. If you have time, you have much better campsite outside Reyjavik (30 to 40min driving)

Nice place and easy to find, opening hours said the bathrooms and kitchen were open at 7am but they were notbut the hostel is right on site and you can use those facilities when the campsite facilities are closed.

Biggest camping site in Reykjavik, quite crowded in the main season. Good facilities. It is situated near the city center. Good connection to the bus terminal.

Of the many places I could have chosen to stay in Reykjavik I am most glad that Ip stayed here, in my opinion this is one of the most well equipped camping sites in all of Iceland, they not only have a cooking area with stoves and many other cooking items but they have well cared for restrooms and showers, the staff are nice and understanding, if you want to do anything in the city it is only a short walk away from the camping site.

Good camp site, close to Reykjavik, many campers leave their unused stuff, like butane gas cans, food items, cleaning stuff. Showers are great!

Quite nice camping, but really crowdly. Close to city center.
Showers are included. Nice kitchen and dinning room. Small parking. Lots off free camp stuff to take, specially camp gas

Pretty crowded but has all the amenities that you need. It's also within walking distance of downtown Reykjavik.

Huge camping. Cars are allowed, many places to put tents. Warm kitchen with free WiFi, warm water in the showers not limited, clean enough. Personnel is friendly and helpful. There it's a habit of free food and free staff, left by tourists

The best and most expensive camp in Iceland. UPDATE: First we came at the end of May and the number of people was OK. However, in the middle of June it was totally overcrowded. I can't imagine how it might look like in the middle of summer. On the other hand, I appreciate installation of TV in the common room where EURO 2016 matches could be watched.

Real good camping, a bit pricey though. Has nice eco-friendly approach, which involves sharing of food and other things that otherwise would be thrown out to garbage. Has a flybus and other bus services stop which is very convenient if you have a flight and want to go to some other town the next day.
