We loved our stay here! The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. The common area was cozy, the scenery was gorgeous, and the breakfast was tasty. We didnt have dinner, but wish we would have- it looked delicious and was priced well. The staff went above and beyond to help us when we had a flat tire and give us advice about things to see. We could not recommend more highly!

Overall the rooms are good and have enough space. We asked for a room on the basement for a person with low mobility and we had to go up stairs to our rooms. You can hear noise in others rooms.

Lovely family run hotel, located off the main tourists' ways, beautifully peaceful and quiet. Vidgemir cave and waterfall are only a short ride away. Good home cooked food.

Lovely place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The guesthouse was brand new and very clean. The mattress and pillow were exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Would recommend!

This was the nicest lodging we stayed at in Iceland. Ntimate place, located in the countryside. The staff was extremely nice, the food was good, as was the company, the night was dark, and the aurora was magnificent: we could actually see a huge pink-green dragon flying over our heads, covering much of the sky above us!

Lovely hotel. Welcoming and v helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms (if basic). Free WiFi available throughout the hotel. A great buffet for breakfast with lots of choice - bread, cheese, jam, porridge (homemade and yummy!), fruit, herring etc. And the highlight has to be the views.

A very cute local family who used to farm the land before becoming a hotel. The rooms are very nice and have all the Icelandic standards. There is free, reliable WiFi. The restaurant serves the standard Icelandic breakfast buffet which is included with your room. The restaurant at dinner was my favorite part of the stay, with a very professional Scottish student doing some travel work as a server. It was easily the best fish I've ever had. The view from the restaurant makes you want to linger. I would definitely stay again (and eat there again to compete the experience).
