  We used Southcoast Adventure for two tours while in Iceland: the Golden Circle tour plus lava tube caving, and snowmobiling. On the Golden Circle tour, we spent the whole day with our guide Valdi, who was by far the best tour guide we've ever had on any trip. He was laid back, funny, so nice, and kept us entertained with various facts and tales the whole day. He took as much time as was needed to make sure we not only saw everything, but had enough time to really enjoy it. Poor guy got home late to his family that day. The snowmobile tour was awesome, though I wouldn't categorize it as "easy," especially if you're going up to the top. I did a lot of research on tour companies and am so glad we went with Southcoast. They have great equipment and awesome tour guides, but are still small enough to really give you a comfortable, personalized experience. Will definitely use them again when we go back.

  Took the Eyjafjallokull tour six of us plus Magnus our driver. Magnus got us to the top despite the previous tracks being wiped out by fresh powder snow. Sometimes we were down to less than 1 kmph. But he kept going plus sustaining a happy and interesting chat including all of the group.
