A really lovely place to stay. An ideal location as a staging post on your travels around the island.

Après une semaine dans le sud de l'Islande à avoir changé de camping tous les soirs, nous terminons sur celui là.
Que dire LE meilleur "camping" qu'on ait pu faire de la semaine.
Il y a peu de place pour camper, mais il n'y avait que nous cette nuit là. Nous avions accès à la salle de restoration de la guesthouse ainsi que la cuisine.
C'était parfait pour bien se reposer d'une semaine chargée !response / report this review -

We've done the whole ring around Iceland by camping at several sites. This place has been the best so far and by far. Nice and clean bathrooms, common room, well equipped kitchen and even a hot tub thats open 24/7 for campers. Staff is nice and well trained and prices are really low compared to other campsites. Full recommendation!

It is not a luxury hotel but you may either rent a room in a guest house or rent a small stand-alone house with all facilities inside. Better options are also available to the best of my knowledge.
We enjoyed staying here: (1) there was a cooking area with few people, so we can make a nice birthday party for our friend without disturbance, (2) the place is so noiseless and calm that you can here a fly flying, (3) the staff was extremely friendly (unfortunately, I did not ask her name), (4) the location is also quite convenient, although you need to drive around 10 km away from high way #1.response / report this review -

top notch, quite big farm, fancy but very cozy homelike guesthouse which facilities are the same for campers.
