My husband and I visited in September 2017. It was a fantastic experience that gave us a whole new (let's be honest, completely new) appreciation for birds. We planned to stop just for a few minutes, but ended up staying well over an hour. The displays are beautifully curated, and it's easy to imagine the avians in their habitat. The building is spectacular and tranquil, too. We were greeted by a very friendly woman who helped us feel so welcome and was happy to answer any question with enthusiasm.
Totally skippable. After you pay to go inside, all you will find is a collection of taxidermied birds. The same birds you can find alive, outside, for free. Plus they laid out the museum floor in a way that requires a safety briefing so you don't plunge into the water feature in the floor.
Nice small museum with many stuffed birds. There's also a 60x telescope for bird watching and a second part of the museum, dedicated to an old boat, which used to be the main transport on the lake for many years. The road to the museum is not on Google Maps, but it's there, a bit to the north.
Belle collection d 'oiseaux,bien présentée
Great collection and we got a chance to feed the ducklings!
Large Selection of stuffed birds. Would've prefered more discussion on bird life and activities.
