AMAZING food!! My husband and I had lunch here and the food was delicious, and we had a beautiful view of the water from our table. Definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area! Out of the 4 restaurants we went to, Restaurant Árhús had the BEST fish & chips. So fresh and it had a great flavor.
Nice place for quick food
Only if you no other places and you are very hungry. The food is below average. French Fries is disaster, burger is weird with red pepper inside and don’t even wanna talk about how terrible the fried fish is haha! Only tap water is good for people maybe.
所有食物都在平均水平下。簡單的薯條🍟是災難;漢堡內放了紅椒;炸魚是感覺炸好後微波加熱的軟面粉皮魚塊肉。我想應該只有飲用的自來水是最能被接受的吧⋯⋯
Above average, 1 starter and 2 mains = ~£70 (no drinks)
Only if you are very hungry. Place has no atmosphere and the food is below average. Burger made from defrosted patties is a no go outside of fast food.
We came here for a light dinner as this seems to be a recommended place, but left disappointed. The beetroot starter with feta cheese as a bit oily, no salt or pepper, vinegar or honey dressing, nor a piece of bread with it. A hamburger meat was not fresh and looked messy on a plate, country wedges were not crispy.
Seriously awesome food! I have to be honest, for my first Icelandic meal, this sets the bar high! Maybe it’s the jet lag, but dang! It was good! I got the calzone and it was HUGE!!!!!! My belly is so pleased! Very impressed.
Caution: parking lot can be icy at times.
Food is expensive (though not by Icelandic standards) but large portions and very tasty. Nice location and great food. Nice clean toilets as well. I think the prices could be reduced if the portions were smaller.
Comfortable and no frills apart from the food which is excellent! Fast & friendly service, really good food and superb views with a comfortable informal atmosphere.
Perfect foods. The pizzas are excellent and fish also .
Very good food with a pretty location on the river. Service was fine. Expensive, about $80/person without alcohol.
Food is much more above our expectations — fish of the day (2800ISK) was huge and delicious. Service is slow but not slower that average in Iceland.
It is cozy but feels more like a dorm cafeteria than a restaurant. Service was slow but kind. As is true in Iceland on the expensive side for small portions.
Atrocious service and prices for ok food
They failed to mention that many items on the menu were unavailable "because they were serving too many groups" until we started ordering, they forgot our appetizers while subsequently serving a group that had walked in 2 or 3 pizzas. When the appitizers showed up (after the main dishes were finished), there was hair in the soup.
Maybe if you're with a group it's a better experience, but it was fairly obvious who the staff cared about serving
Food is alright, pricy for it is. But rarely had worse service. Not that I'm picky though. Had there been no service at all I'd be fine.
Artic char with rissoto was excellent. Large fillet for 2800ISK. Nice service. Forgot the bread for our soup. Had to ask for more water and ketchup.
Basic food, not as good as touted to be. Best is the river view.
Closes at 2100 during week.
Lovely resteraunt and accomodation
Located right next to the caravan park with cabins, had beetroot carpaccio and salmon tartare that were just superb, as well as vino by the glass. Such a lovely surprise and great service
Nice place, great pizza and music. Just what I needed after a long day in the great nature of Iceland. Enjoy
I had the soup of the day, which happened to be curry cream. It was amazing. If the soup of the day were that every time, I'd probably eat there every day. This was my second curry in Iceland. Both where awesome. Prices were reasonable.
