With limited options this is definitely a find. Pretty pricey (but this is Iceland) but at least you get good portion sizes.

Quality price balance very good. The lobster pasta is delicious and the lamb fillet too. The portion is big enough for a person. The place is not very design or beautiful, but if you are looking for a cheap (for Iceland prices) and good food, it’s the right place.

Excellent flavor and portion size!! Definitely recommended. Ordered the lobster spear for starters and it was real good. Then had the lamb chops plate and they surpassed all expectations, the taste and flavor was excellent and the portion size was generous. My wife had the BBQ burger and it is easily top 3 burgers we've ever tasted, the french fries were very tasty as well, No pics of my meal since I was too busy enjoying it.

I had the lobster pasta. It was delicious. It comes with garlic bread and salad. Big portions and reasonable price for Iceland. Good service and gpod atmosphere

Great restaurant in this small Oceanside town. Portions are the best we’ve had on our trip, seafood is good. I’d highly recommend the Lobster Pasta. The restaurant wasn’t too busy mid January, so the service was quick and the servers were great! We’d definitely go back!

We have to agree with other reviews insanely good food and very generous portions. For the three of us, we had the lobster spear for an appetizer, the lobster pasta and surf and turf for dinner (shared both amongst the 3 of us), and then 3 desserts; ice cream, skyr (amazing!), and the chocolate mousse. Even with sharing just the 2 main courses, we couldn’t finish it all - and that is with a hungry 17 yr old boy! The only disappointment was the house red by the glass. But, that was barely even notable for how wonderful of a dining experience we had here. Prices are reasonable for what you are getting. For example, the surf and turf was about $55-60 USD but an equivalent in The States would have easily been more. So, if you are looking for a quality dinner, this is the place. PS I’ve also heard a less fancy meal is possible here and that the burgers are really great.

Insanely good yummy food..I ordered a veggie 🍔. Made from chickpea.. and they gave me the perfect bread, really yummy patty, cheese on top of the patty & very very yum onion rings on top of the cheese. Best burger of my life!
We also ordered a side of garlic bread- another must try.

We love this place, it was our favorite meal while we were in Iceland! The prices were also the best and they were generous with the portions. Our server Pedro I think it was his name was pretty amazing. We had the burgers with fries and they were delicious.

The food was delicious (lobster pizza and lobster pasta), and the portions were enormous. I would definitely recommend this place to someone who's not interested in spending more than 3,000 ISK per person but wants a nice dinner in Höfn. I'm glad they fill that niche.
This may sound nitpicky, but the ambience was off-putting--the 60s rock music clashed with the modern-chic decor, and our table was drenched in fluorescent light. They should probably find a theme and stick with it.

This was by far one of the best restaurants we have been to on the ring road. It is cozy, and fast service. We shared the fish and chips and the lobster pizza. Highly recommend this place - you won't regret it. The prices are also very good for such great food.

Best food in Iceland. The choices of Lobster entrees were so tasty (we all got different ones and shared). The chef was super nice and chatted us up as well. The prices were incredible as well, especially compared to what we normally see.

Great lobster salad and lobster pizza! Excellent service! I'd recommend this place when coming to Hofn. It's not as expensive as the other restaurants, but it's still pricy compared to the US (& other countries). I'd give this a $$$ for food price. Reason for 4 stars is that the lobster is a little too salty for my taste. I guess this may be how they season their lobster in Iceland, I'm not sure. Anyway, totally worth a visit 👍🏽

I absolutely loved this place. I had the lobster scampi and lobster pizza, both were amazing! The service was very great, we asked the server to get the chef so we could give our compliments and she was helping a Customer at the bar! Amazing vibe, everyone in the room was just so into their food.
