The lobster broth (with chilies added) is amasing by itself and I could probably drink it through a staw. Add in tender noodles, an egg, and pork, and you find yourself with the perfect meal to warm up with. Great staff make the time there even better.
I love this place!!! It has nice vegetarian/vegan option. Iэму eaten there several times and would advice it for all. The porcion is pretty big, but believe me you will finish it)
very tasty ramen soups; not too heavy and creamy broth; large protions to one under the island typical price; the selection could be a bit bigger
Ramen Momo focuses on the basics as clearly depicted on its menu board prominently displayed above the open kitchen. Very good classic offering -- Tonkotsu with Pork. Fairly priced by Reykjavik standards with one (1) choice of protein and a half soft boiled egg topping included in standard price. Good value for your ISK.
Good service and nice staff. Really good homemade noodles and broth. The menu is small but you can choose different broth and toppings. There is a vegetarian options if you want that. The place is cozy and has cool decor. It has a homely wipe. If you like ramen, this is the place to get it.
The taste of Chashu pork is quite good, however the soup is quite different, if you compare with the traditional Ramen. Noodles are high quality and organic.
BEST RAMEN I EVER HAD!
My Boyfriend and I were blown away.
I had a vegan ramen, my bf one with chicken. The dumplings were awesome too.
The two Owners were both really nice.
Highly recommend this place!
If this store is intending to serve Japanese style ramen, then sorry but I disagree with the high rating most people given here. The pork soup base tasted blant, noodles over cooked and soggy. Gyoza was almost tasteless and no real gyoza sauce. Seriously if you have actually tried real Japanese ramen you know what I mean. Two stars given just for being polite.
Enjoyed this place very much. We tried to go a couple times but it was too full inside (very tiny restaurant). Luckily the 2nd or 3rd time we found the bar empty. The food and experience were enjoyable, and the server very nice. If it is full when you go, there are plenty of other restaurants within walking distance.
Great ramen with perfectly spicy broth (if you request spiciness) and an Icelandic flair in the form of lamb taking the typical role of pork. It's a cozy fit inside, but any line will move fast. Vegan options available, even for the dumplings.
I think they forgot about our tea until I reminded them and they made a mistake on our order, but they fixed it and the food was very good. Not very much seating, so it was a little crowded when we first got there. I liked the retro music. The ramen broth was very good, not too rich. The kimchi and dumplings were good.
I'm kind of disappointed, I was expecting the taste to be amazing but it taste just like an ordinary soup made by icelanders Besides that the price is insainly high for an average soup You can try it once but I Never recommend it twice!
Have just eaten here and to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. Food is way too overpriced for what you get. If you get it to takeaway you get even less like we did.
7.400 (£52) for 2 bowls of ramen, one chicken and one pork (the pork was incredibly fatty), plus chicken gyōza that was average and edamame. For another £10 or £20 more you can get a good meal in a sit down restaurant.
Really consider your options before eating here.
A hidden treasure whether you have a taste for Japanese food or not. Everything that we ate was fresh and delicious. Eating area is small, however take away is available if it is not to your liking. Would definitely come back again!
This is the most overpriced restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. If you look at the menu there’s no prices because it’s on the wall so you’re figuring you know $10 bucks for a bowl of soup it’s like $28 for a really mediocre bowl of Ramen with no ingredients really. Ridiculous
This place is quite expensive for the measly portion you get but that's not incredibly unusual for Iceland. What made it really bad was that both my husband and I got very sick after eating here. It doesn't seem to be a common problem so hopefully it's not due to a consistent issue here, but I wouldn't risk eating here again.
Ramen was okay but not as good as reviewed here. I give 1 star because I think this place is way overrated in Reykjavik.
This is a nice place for Ramen. I didn't try the mini, so don't know. Only things missing was spiciness and beef. Matter of preference. Staff is amiable, always up for a chat and an interesting story.
We came here while on vacation in iceland and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice. We tried the nonvegan options but there are vegan options if that is important to you.
I wasn't expecting much from a ramen place in Iceland, but I was pleasantly surprised by Ramen Momo. The lone guy working this tiny shop was very friendly.
I went with the pork tonkotsu ramen, spicy. This ramen rivals some of the best I've had back home and the price wasn't that far off, either. Honestly, I wish this place WAS back home so I could have more of it.
If you're in Reykjavik and need a ramen fix, this is the place. It might actually be the only place, but it will definitely satiate your desire for ramen.
Great ramen! Happy that they had a vegan option. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a salty, homestyle soup.
I was here with my friends earlier :)
It's good :) The staff were great too.
I ordered Tonkutsu broth with udon noodles and topped with pork :) Delish~
We also tried their chicken deep fried dumplings. I highly recommend for you to try them :) They're delightful 👌
Good ramen, admittedly expensive being Reykjavik but overall very enjoyable. They also offer dumplings and home-brew tea. I am not a ramen expert by any means, but I do love good food and this place delivers. They offer a discount on take out if you bring your own container. Staff is very friendly.
Reeaaally good and tasty vegan soup, the broth is high quality, you can feel has been boiled for long time, and with the soba noodles and all the toppings make the soup delicious. Also I am a huge fan of dumplings, the nice chef told me to try their vegetarian momos and I'm glad I did! Crispy and tasty. You need to try also the seaweed salad, a good one. About the price, Reykjavik is a expensive place if you wanna eat outside, but this is a good price comparing with the huge bowl you are gonna have and the good quality. Small and cozy place.
