has a grumpy old owner but the staffs are god tho. the rooms looks a little bit scary..some spot of the room has wifi..tv doesnt work

Most importantly the rooms are safe and comfortable, I got a really good sleep here. We actually had a small but functioning kitchen and the rooms were always warm. Fresh towels were provided daily even though we never requested them and that was a nice touch. It's not 5 star but doesn't pretend to be either, it is what it is. After reading some of the more negative reviews about this hotel I have to say that for me and my experience I have found most of the complaints ill founded and unfair. If you're after luxury you have to pay for it, if you are looking for good honest value which is comfortable and safe then this hits the mark. It's also in a great location too.

Suitable for the price. No TV. Sandpaper towels from air drying. The shower door kept falling off. Shower big enough for a tiny person. Had an odor that never went away.

This is a simple, basis accommodation. Meets your needs to a place to shower, sleep and relax. My five stars are for the staff. The owner was super funny. I had a conversation with him each morning. Topics ranged from President Trump to Iceland's no tipping policy to my day. The German gal at the desk in the afternoon noticed it was going to be my birthday the day after I left. How incredibly sweet. Thank you,AdaM Hotel for a memorable experience. :)

Older, but very close to every thing within walking distance. Tiny rooms, walk up. On third floor with luggage is a problem.

I would rate this hotel a zero except the sheets were clean and we did sleep through the night. The bathroom had such a dogusting smell coming from it that we couldn't go in. We brushed our teeth in the sink provided in the "kitchenette". Nooooo insulation, we heard everything our neighbors did when they arrived home at 5am. However the location was great, I will not recommend this place.

This place is a little cheap but the staff is welcoming. Gives a great opportunity to park on the cathedral gratis and it's 30m away. The breakfast (not included) is enough if you're not too demanding. The price is a bit over the average there around.

Great location, close to the highest Church of Reykjavik, next door with a grocery store. But poor facilities, the light in the bathroom turn off automatically even when having shower. Too expensive for a guesthouse like that.
