Fish was good. Go up to the cashier and order your food. They will give you a number to take to a table of your choice and bring your food to you. If you want ketchup you have to ask for it. The fish was good. You get some big pieces and some nice chips. Reasonable price for Iceland.

I got the special and loved it. The staff is fun to talk to and the meal was one of the best that I had in town. The restaurant is huge and allows for everyone to spread out. Definitely a must if you want some good fried fish.

Loved this place! My friends and I were looking for a good fish and chips place and we definitely made the right decision by coming here. It’s by the water and pier with boats. It’s not very far from downtown Reykjavik either. The food came out fresh and hot and was delicious. It was a little pricey, but that’s Iceland for you. In the end, definitely worth the price. The staff are also really friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Best meal with had in Iceland. We liked it so much we went back twice. Great fish & seafood dishes, plenty of things for kids to eat. Prices are reasonable for Iceland. You order at the front register, take a number and they serve you at your table which made for quick service.

Terrible restaurant that a succession of tourists fall into. We had fish and chips, the fish was missing in action and the chips frozen French fries! At least two other tables near us were of the same opinion whilst we were there. So many wonderful places to eat in Reykjavik. This is not one of them!

Prepare for a grease fest if you order the fish and chips. My husband and I were craving fresh Icelandic fish and were highly disappointed. We used 20+ napkins to blot all the oil and our tongues were still left with a thick film. Save yourself $20 a dish and grab frozen fish from Bonus, put it in a microwave, and eat it on a park bench for a better view of the ocean.

Cod fillets fried in breadcrumbs was really nice. Gotta pay for sauce of choice, water is free for the taking. Great dinner place after whale watching. Near the harbour.

Overrated. I give 3 stars for the overall experience. Fish and chips tasted ok, not bad but not great either. Fish soup much better. Odd that they charge even for the tartar sauce.

Pretty decent for a self serve in price and place . Got the 3 fish meal. It's not bad but the cod was a little too plain. But there was a lot to eat for the amount I paid.

This place is great because the prices are very reasonable (a rare thing on our recent trip to Reykjavik) The menu is on the black board and you order at the counter. We both had lovely fresh fush and chips!

The fish dishes are very good. Portion is nice for it's prices in Iceland. The place is spacious and pretty comfortable to sit in. The lady at cashier is very helpful to foreigners. I recommend for foreigners coming for vacation.

The fish and chips was good. The batter was tasty and smoothe and not too crunch, and the fish was soft and fresh-- don't get it if you don't like grease, though. But, so expensive. One meal converted from ISK to Euro was 18€be prepared

This isn’t full service restaurant; you place order at the counter and take seat. Water and utensils are self-service. Excellent plokkari (lighter than others) and fish & chip. However chip (French Fry) was soggy so 4 stars.

Good spot for fish and chips with few different dipping sauce. The staff were nice even if register worker did seem to enjoy questions or requests. Big seating areas that can handle large crowds of people.

Good fish and chips. Fresh and tasty. You order at the counter, get a number and sit down. They will find you when your order is complete. It was a bit crowded when we were here, but there was still space in the backroom which is a bit more gloomy. If you want less salty take the cod with breadcrumbs for the same price as a fish and chips (1890 ISK).

My first meal in Iceland. Yummy. Fish and chips were good. Fish was nice and flakey. The batter was light and crispy. Chips were average. The meal was delivered and as I was eating, they delivered another piece of fish, saying the original one was a bit small. That was considerate, especially since I didn't think it was too small. One happy customer.

We were on the hunt for a great fish and chips place that didn't break the budget, and in the two weeks of traveling across the country this takes the cake. Great, fresh, fish with a healthy serving of fries to boot. 2289 krona for fish and chips with sauce, worth every penny!

An English styled pub where you order at the bar and the food is served to your table. The fish soup was good, as where the fish burger and the sweet potato fries. Nice setting near he port and the Saga museum.

We went for fish and chips and they were great! The fish was tender with a crisp tasty batter, quite perfect if you ask me. The fries were not great, but you can substitute them for sweet potato fries or curly fries which were better. You can also get a boiled sheep's head (actual sheep, not a fish) if you're into that. My friend ordered it and was really happy about it.

Awesome selection of sauces to go with what I can confidently day is the best fish and chips I've ever had. Link that with a fun atmosphere and great employees.
I highly recommend this place!
