Great hostel, clean, big and kitchen facilities were excellent for a hostel from microwaves, to ovens. Refrigerators could be cleaned out more often than once a week. Good location also. Had a great stay at Oddsson.

Nice mix of a hostel and a hotel. Great views at front.

Really not sure of etiquette of getting changed for hot tub as everyone watches whilst having their dinner

Trendy design. Great location right along the ocean and short walk to city center. Careful walking during winter, the area around the entrance is icy (as are most places, but here more than the city center where it tends to melt away or be salted). Super clean and high standard, with spacious kitchen, lounge and eating areas. These are shared spaces but people tend to be respectful and trustworthy so all works like a charm.

I took a trip to iceland last year and I enjoyed the stay there. I spent only one day there but they had everything I needed and more. having the kitchen made me so much happier. It had a really open social setting where people from everywhere could really have a great time. I will definitely advise checking this place out on the stay in the city. one of the best deals I've seen so far.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable living spaces. A little bit out of the main city but the walk isnt too bad. Close to several grocery stores and fast food restaurants.

It's good in this expensive city. The space for each is enough. and it's safe and quiet. It's better if the each bed has curtain. Parking lo5 is in front of the building and free, so ut"s convenient. Though this hostel surve breakfast, ISK2000, I bought some in bakery nearby. It's good if you want to enjoy Iceland in low-cost

Great atmosphere and huge kitchen where you could meet lots of people, very sociable atmosphere. Really close to 3 supermarkets and walking distance from the city centre. Huge lockers in the rooms with space for a padlock and amazing views from the window!
Bathrooms were clean and bathrooms and kitchen wrte leaned every day.
Sometimes the kitchen could be ill equipped e.g. only one kettle, not enough plates- however during our stay the cutlery ran out and by the next morning tgere was loads of brand new cutlery provided! :-)
Great place to stay- with free parking! Would definitely stay again.

Basic basic did I mention Basic? But bed is good. Clean duvet. Could do with a splash of colour and injection of fun. Staff quite good.

My first Hostel so nothing to compare it to but, the lobby was very cozy and welcoming and beautiful light with Christmas lights. There's a hot tub 😏 and the kithen/common room is a place for games and meeting people. Staff are kind and respectful :)

Cheap, friendly, and accessible. Very comfortable for the price. Great for young travelers on a budget. Which the floors were a bit cleaner though.

Haven't stayed here yet, but made a booking for the end of December, and there was some error with payment for the Hostel and they emailed me right away with the problem and were so patient, and friendly. Some of the best customer service I have ever received. Now I'm all booked and can't wait to stay here. I'll update when I do.

We stayed in a private double room on a Saturday night in November. While small, our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nearby and available when we needed it (though the small number of bathrooms, all private as far as I could tell, may make that more difficult in the summer when they're busier). The kitchen was fine on Saturday afternoon and extremely dirty Sunday morning. Staff were wonderful.

Wonderful people. Had a mix up on arrival, and they went out of their way and took care of it even though it was mostly my misunderstanding. Great social time in the hostel kitchen too, as it's full of interesting travelers staying up chatting. Highly recommended!

Not as nice as this pictures let on. The lobby is done up very nice, but you can tell the building has seen better days once you get upstairs. Staff were nice enough though and i me some cool people.

Best Hostel Experience ever. Everyone is SUPER FRIENDLY. They have a massive, well equipped kitchen. They have a rooftop patio with a hot tub. We saw the Northern lights from there. AMAZING!!!!!

It's affordable for Iceland (which is mad expensive).

Quick tip: buy your own food, don't pay for the breakfast or drinks or anything at the restaurant downstairs.

We take a lunch on Oddsson hotel because local persons recommend it. The vegan food was surprising for us, quite good, home made and tasty. Unusual for the rest of the Icelandic gastronomy we taste in our travel.

Conveniently located and cheap hostel. Their rooms and beds are really nice and I loved that there were lockers for each bed. Also have a rooftop area to chill and meet new people. Only knock is that when I was there, there was a funky smell coming from the showers that never dissipated.

I stayed in a private room which was very comfortable and modern. Breakfast in the morning was delicious!

The staff at the front desk were very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating.

My only complaint is that although the corridor was very quiet the other guests let the doors slam shut which was disturbing - but in the scheme of things that isn't so bad.

By far the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The private room had an amazing view and the place wasn't at all loud (previous hostel experiences). The breakfast was delicious, don't forget to try the skyr 😘

A clean hostel/hotel with ample space and a large kitchen. Hot tub. Beautiful lobby area with a fantastic bar and restaurant. Guests receive 15% off. I'd give it a 5* but my room key kept not working leading to multiple replacements and headaches. Still would recommend it though.

Pretty nice hotel/hostel/restaurant/karaoke/bar, with friendly and knowledgeable staff and some clean dorm with nice views. Plus, they DO make considerable efforts towards sustainability - a big BIG plus. The hot tub on the roof accessible through the kitchen floor upstairs is also very pleasant. Some ustensiles may be missing in the kitchen and some may say that a 15min walk downtown is too much (😪), but overall I very much recommend this place.

Surprisingly good. Excellent lobby area with bar cafe and restaurant. Sometimes has gigs on which can be heard from the hostel rooms. Hostel rooms were basic but functional. Could do with more power sockets

Cheap no frills hostel, but comes with a modern dinning area on the ground floor. If you want accommodation which is good value for money thats located close to downtown Reykjavik, I would recommend this hostel. Staff are very friendly and multilingual. I would use them again.

I loved this place. This place is for every type of traveller. You can stay in a dorm or private room, you can eat in a restaurant or cook your own food in what I call a "social kitchen", because you can't go in there without meeting someone new. They even have a hot tub on the roof. The huge lobby offers places eat a bar or just sit down on a couch and relax (another good place to meet new people). It's a great place to use as home base while visiting Iceland and that at a great price. There is even a grocery store right across the street, not to mention a beautiful view of the ocean. I stayed here twice during my trip and loved it. Thanks.
