Nyidalur FI Mountain Hut

  I have stayed in Nyidalur Hut in summer 2017 during Iceland traverse.
  The hut is very nice with well equipped kitchen. After 5 days hike it was a pleasure to sleep in bed after great shower. We prefer to sleep inside the hut, but you can also pitch a tent.
  Many thanks to Inga and Sabina (hut wardens) from a warm stay. Special thanks for Gunnar (park ranger) for providing vital information for route for the next days.

  The Rangers and Wardens were very nice und helped us with everything.
  Rangers give us ips for our hiking plan's (akureyri to skogar) and the wardens gives us from their own food

  Mountain hut, modestly furnished. It has climate. Located in beautiful surroundings. Next to it is a campsite.

  Overnattet her i 2012 under en fottur over Island. Trivelig vertskap, og greie fasiliteter.
