Nice place with beautiful view in beautiful quiet city. Room for 4 people cost us around 180 euro for night which is high price in comparison with our booking on AirBnb that we made in advance.
No problem. Kind of self-service, quiet, and some food provided for breakfast.
It was cozy and I felt totally safe, which is primarily what I'm looking for in where I'm staying. Make sure that you track how big the room is as the ones here are fairly small.
This was probably the most unmanaged hostel I've been to. Which is why the other hostel, Harbor Hostel, in the area is always booked. The hostel had subpar cleanliness, the staff was two young men that basically stayed hidden away and where not helpful. The beds are disgusting, outdated, uncomfortable, and the list goes on. Linens were not any better. Especially not worth 11 euros. The windows were not equipped with blackout shades which are a must in Iceland summers. WiFi was not available anywhere in the hostel except near the private rooms of the two young men. This is very much a last resort to stay anywhere. But with the money spent I would've rather just slept in my car and washed up in a gas station bathroom.
Beautiful place, the owner is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended
