A superb view on the sea and the little island just in the front of the hotel. All around behind the hotel you can see the mountains. The room was perfect. There is also a hot bathroom outside ! Very pleasant and confortable I definitly recommend the place. Ps : there is a restaurant with iceland prices (count 4200 isk for your main dish)

Stunning location & great staff!
We stayed at Lónkot 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The location is one of a kind, with a beautiful view of Drangey and the sea. Our room had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy. We also dined at the restaurant and very much enjoyed how they used local produce. They even have their own hot pool which is just what you need after a day of sightseeing!
The best however was the friendly and attentive staff that helped us with any request we had.

Buildings - creative
Restaurant - necessary since far from town
Staff - friendly
Areas Lacking -
1. bathrooms not kept stocked
2. Common areas not kept clean (bench seating in restaurant needed vacuum, dead flies everywhere needed vacuum, which was finally done after 2 days)
3. Fish soup was bowl of warm milk with 6 shrimp for 2200 kr ISK. I've had better.
This place could be spectacular with a little more effort.

Small and friendly place close to the sea with a nice view. We got a tasty breakfest before leaving. Happy with the stay! :)
